As you explore the Choral Chambers after unlocking Act 2, Silksong players may run into a locked door just above the Grand Bellway in the bottom-right of the zone. You can see a golden lever on the other side of this locked gate, but Hornet cannot get to it from this side.

To unlock this door, you must go all the way around to the other side, traversing several challenging zones to unlock the Stage door. Silksong players should follow this guide to learn what is behind the Stage door in Choral Chambers and figure out how to get to the other side and access the secret boss fight within.
What is Behind the Locked Door in Choral Chambers?
Unlock This Door to Access The Stage in Silksong
Located just above the Grand Bellway at the bottom-right of the Choral Chambers, the locked door in the Choral Chambers in Silksong leads into The Stage. Read the sign next to the locked door to learn that the Stage is home to none other than acclaimed thespian Trobbio, who seeks to use his theatrical performance to "rouse the soul of this one great land."
Defeating Trobbio will allow Hornet to access the Whispering Vaults and the top-right side of the Underworks much more safely, as the Grand Bellway bench is practically right below the room. Though you can see the lever that will open the door to The Stage, Hornet cannot reach it from the Choral Chambers side.
How to Unlock the Choral Chambers Stage Door
And How to Get to Trobbio in Silksong
To get to Trobbio and unlock the Stage Door, Silksong players must make their way into the Whispering Vaults to enter the boss room from the right side.
- From the Cogwork Dancers boss fight arena (where the three ancient statues now reside, after beating the boss), head down into the Cogwork Core.
- Carefully navigate around to the right side of this room. If you do not have the shortcut unlocked, you must go all the way down, then around the bottom of the central wall, to reach the other side.
- Continue right, pogo-ing across more gears, until you enter a room with a lever. This is the gigantic wheel-gate that connects the top of Choral Chambers to the Bellway area below – hit the lever to turn the wheel-gate horizontal, then continue to the right to enter the Whispering Vaults.
- Attack boxes to push them along tracks in the background to continue into the room to the right.
- This room is enormous and labyrinthine. Your destination is an exit on the left about two-thirds of the way down (highlighted on the map above). Make your way around the flame-tossing enemies, gigantic armored bugs, and rapid slashing enemies while navigating the box puzzles to reach this room.
- Continue to the left, then drop down into the top layer of The Stage. You can see The Stage below as you continue to the left.
At the end of this hallway, drop down, and you will land near the door. Do not enter the boss arena yet – hit the lever to unlock the locked door to The Stage in Silksong, then go back to the Grand Bellway and sit on the bench to set your respawn point.
If you do not return to the Grand Bellway bench before fighting Trobbio, and if you sat at a bench at any point on your way through the Cogwork Core and Whispering Vaults, you will have to make a much longer trek back to the boss if you die.
