How to Get Needle Strike in Silksong

In Hollow Knight, apart from the flashy moves and unique abilities, players were also able to hold down their attack button to perform a charged attack, which does increased damage to the enemy. This ability is also present in Hollow Knight: Silksong, but does not appear until the end of Act 1.

The path to this ability is not difficult, but it does require you to defeat a boss who can be quite unforgiving because of its two masks' damage. The guide below offers information on the location of Needle Strike in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Silksong: How to Get Needle Strike (Charged Attack)

To get the Needle Strike, you will have to first reach Blasted Steps. This area is located to the far left of the map and accessible after you have acquired the wall jump ability in Shellwood. From the Bellway Station in Shellwood, head right and drop down all the way until you can go left. Keep going on this path until you arrive at the bench, and right before it is a place you can go up and access the bench on the right and open the gate blocking the Bellway Station. Once you are in Blasted Steps, which is the path left of the bench you just unlocked, head all the way up to find Blasted Steps' Bellway Station and a bench to rest at.

Be sure to interact with this bench, as there is a boss fight on your way to the Needle Strike ability.

Head down the same way you came, but float towards the left wall, and when you spot a blue sign pointing to the left, head through there, and you will come across the Great Conchflies.

Great Conchflies and the Pinstress

The Great Conchflies are a duo boss fight where both Conchflies deal double mask damage. They are coordinated in their attacks, which means that you will have to keep an eye out as to where both of them start to drill in and drill out. At times, one of the Conchflies will stop and shoot a projectile at you that you can dodge or attack to deflect it away. Whenever the boss is about to emerge from the ground, a trail of dust will appear, which is a huge indicator. After one of the bosses has been dealt, the other will run away, ending the fight.

Head further left after the fight, making your way across the worms below. You will have to pogo the bouncy balls at the end of the path to reach the hut above, where you will meet the Pinstress. Talk to her, and you will be rewarded with the Needle Strike ability, which you can perform by holding down the attack button.
