When it comes to Hollow Knight: Silksong, players will find out that there is a lot of Tool variety, catering to every situation, be it going through platforming or facing waves of enemies. When it comes to increasing the overall damage of Hornet's needle, players have to resort to finding Pale Oils and bringing them back to Bellhart. However, there is a Tool in the game that also does that, but there is a catch with it.
The guide below offers information on what players have to do to acquire the Barbed Bracelet and whether it is worth equipping it over other tools in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

How to Get the Barbed Bracelet in Silksong
To get the
Barbed Bracelet, you will first need to reach Shellwood and acquire the Wall jump ability. This requires defeating Sister Splinter and going right from the boss arena to find the ability. With the ability, make your way to Greymoor Bellway Station, head left, and enter the first tower. Keep going up until you can find a passage on the right that leads to the second tower. Head further right and go through the passage on the right.
You can make the elevator go down, giving you a shortcut to the Halfway Home bench.
From the elevator, you can pogo the metal spikes on the left, then float to the right, where you can down slash a ball and reach the top right, where there is a passage leading right. This puts you in Sinner's Road, where you can ignore the imprisoned green mantis above you and head far right. Go through the room with the multiple Muckroaches, and at the end, do not take the path going up; instead, head inside the cage and drop. Avoid the spikes, and you will find the Barbed Bracelet on top of a wooden raft.
Do not step into the water in this area, as it contains Muckmaggots that can poison you. An easy way to remove the maggots is to use your Bind; this will not heal you, but the maggots will go away.
How Does It Work & Is It Worth It in Silksong?
The
Barbed Bracelet is a Yellow tool that increases your total damage output, but also increases the damage you take. This makes it very situational because the increase in damage taken makes it so that most bosses will two-shot you, as you have less than eight mask shards before reaching the end of the game. There are also a lot of platforming sections in the game where most enemies, along with the traps and spikes on the wall, do two mask damage; with the Barbed Bracelet equipped, you will not last more than a minute before going back to the bench. The tool is not that bad against certain bosses that are predictable, and where you are confident in your skills to not get hit.
If you are trying to farm for Rosaries, this is a must-have Tool. Most of the time during a farm, you might take one or two hits, but paired up with the
Fractured Mask, you will be able to withstand three hits and also take out the enemies much faster. The Barbed Bracelet also increases the damage of the Clawline ability once you unlock it. Harpooning enemies and dashing away makes most farms relatively easy and shorter.
