Fans of Silent Hill 2 may be interested to learn that an exclusive statue featuring the game's two most prominent figures is due to be released soon, and a giveaway means there's a chance to win one. Taking inspiration from the 1990 film Jacob's Ladder, the sequel to Konami's influential survival horror game was a masterpiece in psychological storytelling, going on to become one of the most important titles in the genre. Despite being more than 20 years old at this point, SH2 is still being talked about to this day.

Many were delighted last year to learn that Bloober Team is remaking the iconic game, with other Silent Hill projects currently in the works as well. Given the upcoming games, the remake, a new film, an interactive experience, and the developer putting out a call for other project ideas, the Silent Hill franchise is coming back with a force. In order to celebrate this, a company is about to unleash a special statue commemorating the iconic sequel and there's currently a giveaway that will let fans try to win one, as well as some other memorabilia.

On Twitter, Figurama Collectors recently announced an exclusive Silent Hill 2 giveaway, which will be open for entries until February 7. One of the main prizes up for grabs is what's being referred to as the "Silent Hill Red Pyramid Thing vs James Sunderland" statue. The figurine, as the name suggests, depicts the game's protagonist engaged in combat with his arch nemesis, Pyramid Head. It's a very detailed statue, showing the infamous antagonist coated in blood as James points a gun up towards his enemy. Winners of the contest will be announced on February 10, but those who don't win or take part can still pre-order the item beginning February 11. Those who would like a chance of winning the statue or one of the other giveaways such as $100 in Geld will need to join the Figurama Collectors Hub Facebook page.

Pyramid Head is one of the most iconic horror villains in gaming, not just the Silent Hill series. His presence in the 2001 entry was revealed to be a manifestation of James' desire to punish himself for his past transgressions, which made the sword-wielding stalker stand out as more than just a typical enemy.

Horror memorabilia is not uncommon in gaming. Recently, there was news that Capcom would begin selling Resident Evil drinks in the style of the series' first aid sprays, and there were some Silent Hill 2 limited edition soundtrack vinyls released by Konami recently. Sadly, these OSTs sold out extremely quickly, and at the time of writing, they are no longer available.

Silent Hill 2 was released in 2001 for PS2.
