A simple letter from Mary states that she is waiting for James in their "special place," which is revealed to be Room 312 of the hotel. After fighting a number of monsters and completing a series of puzzles at the Lakeview Hotel, players can acquire the key to Room 312 and be treated to a crucial cutscene. The room and its connected story elements have been greatly appreciated by fans over the years, inspiring OP to rebuild a cardboard version for their adorable pet hamster to explore.
