How To Solve Coin Puzzle For Wood Side Apartments In Silent Hill 2 Remake
After entering the Wood Side Apartments and grabbing the Map from the board near the counter, you can head inside the Reception Room to find a Coin Puzzle box. This puzzle needs three coins, which players interested in puzzles in the Silent Hill franchise can find on the different floors of the apartment.
Where To Find The Man Coin
To acquire the Man Coin, players must first go to apartment 108, where they will find a Golden Apple Handle on a cupboard. With the handle in your possession, head to apartment 208 on the second floor to find a similar cupboard where you can put the Golden Apple. This will allow you to move the cupboard to the right, revealing a small passage. Go through to reach apartment 206, where you must solve a puzzle to open the safe. The correct solution for the puzzle is Right 13, Left 7, Right 11. Opening the safe will get you the Coin [Man] and a Steel Key.

Where To Find The Woman Coin
After acquiring the Flashlight and progressing further in this area, you will find a door adjacent to apartment 212. Enter it to find a garbage chute you can look down into to spot the Woman Coin. This is not accessible right now, so you must explore more until you find the 2F Small Staircase Key, which opens up the locked door near apartment 213.
Save your game if you want, and head to the third floor. Head for apartment 310, which has a balcony that connects to apartment 312. Inside apartment 312, you will find a small crawlspace with blood on the floor. Approach it and go through to find a washing room with a Canned Juice item you can collect. Pick this up and throw it down the garbage chute in this washing room to make the garbage fall to the courtyard outside. Return to the courtyard to find the Coin [Woman] on the ground.
Where To Find The Snake Coin
After acquiring the Woman Coin, head back the way you came and head left to the end of the hallway. Enter apartment 116, where a cutscene will trigger, and you will meet Eddie. Once the cutscene finishes, jump out the window to find multiple Lying Figure enemies in the pool area. Deal with them using your Wooden Plank or Handgun and drop into the pool. Interact with the red stroller to find the Coin [Snake].
All Solutions For The Coin Riddles (Standard Difficulty)
There are four riddles on the Coin Box. Players interested in Silent Hill games with great combat must complete all of them to get the reward. The coins can be placed in the five slots and rotated, which is necessary for some riddles. The first riddle is:

The solution to this riddle is to put the Bronze Sunflower on the extreme right, the Golden Woman in the middle, and the Silver Man on the extreme left.

towards the Flower, away from the tree.
The solution to this riddle is to put the Bronze Sunflower on the extreme right, the Golden Woman on the second slot from the right, and the Silver Sword on the fourth slot from the right.
The third riddle is:
Where once grew a Flower, a venemous glee,
where once a Maiden, but a stone doth be.
And over her Grave the Main doth remain,
his blade never met the vile Serpent's vein.
The solution to this riddle is to put the Bronze Snake on the extreme right, the Gold Gravestone on the second slot from the right, and the Silver Man in the middle.
The fourth and final riddle is:
The Beast who its teeth in her flesh doth bore,
He who has failed, She who is no more.
Now unto you falls a grievous chore,
who carries the blame for what fate had in store?
The solution to the last riddle is to put any coin in the top slot.

The life he once had he has left behind,
where once there was love, now a stone resides.
The solution to this riddle is to put the Golden Gravestone on the extreme left, the Silver Sword on the second slot from the left, and the Bronze Sunflower in the middle.
The third riddle is:
He kneels by the crown that casts a cruel shade
onto the visage of her who did fade.
By them not a soul, not a sight, nor sound.
And yet, evil slithers upon radiant ground.
The solution to this riddle is to put the Silver Man in the second slot from the left, the Golden Woman in the middle, and the Bronze Snake on the extreme right.
For the fourth riddle, you can put any coin in the top slot, solving the puzzle.

After solving all the riddles, you will get the Apartment 201 Key, which you can use to open the locked door and head inside to initiate the final cutscene for this area.
