As players progress in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, they will come across a stone door that has a red line going vertically down. This door appears a few times in the game and always has two options to select. The outcomes of each of these options are different, so players might wonder which option to go for and which of them might have the most rewards. This guide offers information on the stone door located in the Tang Emperor Palace in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.
Wuchang Fallen Feathers: Madness (Inner Demon) Explained
Madness lets players deal and receive increased damage in Wuchang Fallen Feathers, here's how it works and how to remove it.
Where Is the Red Line Stone Door in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers?
After reaching the Tang Emperor Palace, you will have to explore the left side that leads further into the Palace. There will be a house, and next to it is a wooden ramp. Go up the ramp and climb down the ladder to reach an area with a shielded enemy. Deal with him and look to your left to spot a large door that leads back to the Shu Sanctum and stairs on the left. As you go up the stairs and follow the linear path, you will come across quite a few enemies. Go down a set of stairs, and there will be a stone door on your right with a red line going down the middle. Interacting with this gate gives you two options:
- The Winged Ascension
- Feathered Transcendence
Should You Choose The Winged Ascension or Feathered Transcendence in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (Tang Emperor Palace)?
If you choose the Winged Ascension option, the gate will open, and you can find Sheng – Lasting Alacrity (Benediction) on the ground. The Benediction extends the duration of damage avoidance when triggering Alacrity. This is all there is for the first option, and it is quite a letdown. The second option does not offer a Benediction, but there is something else you can find when going with this choice.
As you select Feathered Transcendence, you will be teleported to Lotus Pond, which is a small area inside the Palace. There is an empowered enemy right ahead that you can kill for a Faint Red Feather and Red Mercury Essence x1. There is a Full-Grown Red Mercury on one of the beds as well, which you can pick up before opening the door that leads to the right side of the Palace. If you go left, you will find a garden area where the Boatman is digging. Talk to him and he will give you a Crystalized Red Mercury, then you can pick up a Full-Grown Red Mercury from the grave.
It is important to note that if you go with option 1, you will have no way to access the door to Lotus Pond and will miss that small interaction with the Boatman.
