Upon interacting with the first shrine inside Bo Capital, players will have to explore all possible paths and interact with a few Bronze Pillars, which will allow them to find the Depths of the Capital shrine. Should You Choose The Grand Dream Fades or The Wheel Turns Anew in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (Bo Capital)?

Upon interacting with the Mysterious Gate next to the Depths of the Capital shrine, you will get the following choices:

  • The grand dream fades
  • The wheel turns anew

If you choose the first option, The grand dream fades, the doors will open, revealing a small area inside. This is the correct answer to the riddle, and if you are aiming for the Sage trophy/achievement, you should select this one. Inside the room, you will find the Boatman, whom you can talk to. This conversation will grant you Ren - Blood Vigor (Benediction).

Although the first option earns a trophy, the second choice also unlocks an achievement. When you choose The wheel turns anew, you will be teleported to the Shrine Dwelling area inside Bo Capital, with a shrine just outside to your left. Head down the stairs into the next arena, where you will fight the Demon of Obsession, who drops the following items:

  • Bo Blood
  • Red Mercury Essence x1
  • Obsession’s Bamboo Hat
  • Obsession’s Armor
  • Obsession’s Wrist Wrap
  • Obsession’s Skin Wraps

After the fight, go toward the blue glow on the wall and perform the “Sacrifice” gesture next to it. This grants you Blood of Wangdi x1. Continue along the right path. As you approach the stairs, a Bamboozling will run up; defeat it to acquire a Bamboo Shoot. Head further up to find an empowered enemy who drops a Bronze Piece and Red Mercury Essence x1.

Keep following the path to find another blue glow where you must perform the “Sacrifice” gesture again to receive another Blood of Wangdi x1. In the middle of the room, you’ll spot an altar that requires the Ring of Samsara – Cause and Ring of Samsara – Effect to reform the Causality Key.

This item is required for one of the endings, so it’s best to keep it in your inventory and not mistakenly consume it for a small amount of Red Mercury.
