In celebration of the platform's 10th anniversary, Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ announced a brand-new collaboration with multiple anime studios to produce anime adaptations of one-shot manga stories published on Shōnen Jump+. There are three anime studios involved in this new venture: WIT STUDIO; best known for the production of the first three seasons of the anime adaptation of Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan, CONTRAIL; which regularly provides in-between animation on several major anime productions, and Production I.G; the studio known for the adaptation of Shirow Masamune's Ghost in the Shell.
This new venture comes after the announcement of an art exhibition also in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Shonen Jump+, which was announced in December 2024 and launched on April 18 and ran until May 18.
Although Shōnen Jump+ is usually enjoyed by readers through the app, this exhibition aims to allow readers to experience Shōnen Jump+ in various forms, such as illustration displays, videos, and three-dimensional structures. We will deliver the charm of Shōnen Jump+ to the fullest, focusing on works that represent the past 10 years, such as Spy x Family, Kaiju No. 8, and DANDADAN.

About the New Collaboration
The Venture Is Led By JOEN
The new Shōnen Jump+ collaborative venture with anime studios is going to be led by JOEN, a joint-venture between Aniplex, Spy x Family studio CloverWorks, WIT Studio and Shōnen Jump publisher Shueisha. JOEN was established in May 2022. No further information about the one-shots being primed for adaptation has been revealed as yet, but more details will be published on the Shōnen Jump+ 10th anniversary website, as well as in the digital publication itself.
Shōnen Jump+ first launched on September 22, 2014, and has featured a number of smash-hit titles, including Spy x Family, Kaiju No. 8, DANDADAN, the second part of Tatsuki Fujimoto's CHAINSAW MAN and Yūji Kaku's Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku. The breakout success of Tatsuya Endo's Spy x Family brought new readership to Shōnen Jump+, with the series capturing a large female audience, but what also helped the digital magazine's popularity was its less stringent editorial restrictions when it comes to explicit content compared to the flagship magazine. The Shōnen Jump+ app has been downloaded over 19 million times as of 2022, with an estimated 4.6 million active users every week.
