Mist has a few unlockable abilities in Shape of Dreams, and while the ones for her active ability slots are fairly easy to get, the one for her passive slot is much harder. In order to get Astrid's Masterpiece - Priorite, players will need to beat the first boss of the game within two minutes of a run, a feat that involves equal parts skill, planning, and luck.

This challenge in particular requires a lot of effort compared to the ones for other Shape of Dreams characters, but if you're a fan of Mist, then unlocking this second passive will be well worth the effort. In this guide, we're going to cover a couple of strategies that you can use during your attempts to get this locked ability.

Here are three different ways to farm for Stardust, the main meta-progression currency players will need in Shape of Dreams.

Best Build to Get Mist's Second Passive

Shape of Dreams Mist Belphomet in 2 minutes

For our first strategy, y ou'll need to unlock both Fleche and Parry, Mist's other locked abilities. Reaching the first boss' arena in two minutes may seem impossible, but with the proper setup, you can easily get there with plenty of time to spare for the actual boss fight.

Using Fleche will reset Mist's basic attack counter. By attacking an enemy with your basic attack and immediately following up with Fleche before the animation recovery is over, you'll be able to hit your target three times in the blink of an eye. This technique is something that all Shape of Dreams players should master, especially for other Shape of Dreams characters like Shell.

We are also going to use Parry simply because it has a much shorter cooldown than Unbreakable Determination. Use it to defeat tankier targets and the first boss Belphomet himself. Just try not to mess up the timing, as it could cost you a few precious seconds.

Shape of Dreams Mist Constellations

You'll also want the following Constellation Stars on Mist:

  • Astrid's Smithing (Unique Mist Destruction Star): Increases Attack Damage
  • Aggressive Stance (Destruction): Increases Attack Damage
  • Burning Bloodlust (Destruction): Increases Attack Damage until you complete the first two worlds
  • Intersecting Memories (Imagination): Gain a random Memory at the start of a run

The more offensive passives you can get, the better. However, we've found that this is more than enough to unlock the achievement.

Skip rewards with lengthy animations (Altar of Doom and Wells should be fine to use if you're fast enough), take short map routes (preferably ones with merchants), and most importantly, play on the easiest difficulty. If you can use the Lucid Dream that doubles the damage taken by everyone, you should end up with faster clear times.

The Deja Vu Strategy

Shape of Dreams Essence of the Vortex Deja Vu

For those who don't know, you unlock the Deja Vu feature in the lobby after you reach a cumulative total of 50 Traveler ranks. This lets you start a run with any Memory or Essence that you have unlocked previously. You can unlock them by finishing a run while having them on your character, or by completing challenges.

For this specific challenge, you'll want to get the Essence of the Vortex. This can be attached to any Memory, and all it does is shoot fireballs at nearby targets. This is a deceptively powerful Essence to have early on, especially if you end up getting a high-quality version of it.

Speaking of high quality, use the Constellation Stars listed previously, then add Beginner's Luck to the mix. This increases the quality of the first Essence you equip by 130%. Once the run starts, pick up your Essence, then make a beeline for the boss.

The one thing that may hold some players back from this strategy is the fact that Deja Vu only becomes available after getting 50 cumulative Traveler ranks, which means new players won't be able to use this strategy at all. You don't have to use just one Shape of Dreams character to unlock this, however. As long as the ranks of every character you have reach 50, the Deja Vu menu will unlock.

Astrid's Masterpiece - Priorite marks enemies every 5.4 seconds. Attacks against Marked enemies deal more damage and grant you attack speed. Damage against Marked enemies increases with each consecutive hit, and on the sixth hit, the Mark will explode, dealing damage.
