Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree introduces several new armor sets into the already expensive list offered by the base game. No matter your build, the Elden Ring DLC will undoubtedly have a set that suits your needs. When you get truly lucky, you'll find an armor set that not only provides decent protection, but also looks good doing it. Shadow of the Erdtree has several sets that do just that, like the new Death Knight armor set.
Shadow of the Erdtree: Iris of Grace & Iris of Occultation Explained
The unique Iris of Grace and Iris of Occultation consumables have a special use in two Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree NPC quests.
Death Knights are a new addition to the Elden Ring lore. The game states that they are servants of Godwyn, which makes sense given that the Death Knight boss we face is found near the Eldritch Head that was found in the lowest level of Stormveil Castle and Deeproot Depths. Because of this, it's no surprise that the
Death Knight Set is appropriately macabre. This guide will show players exactly where they can find it, and provide the base details and stats.
Death Knight Armor Set Overview: Pieces & Stats
In Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, the Death Knight armor set is made up of four pieces: the Armor, Gauntlets, Greaves, and Helm. When all four pieces are equipped, the Death Knight set weight is 25.9.
For the protection it offers, the Death Knight set is relatively light. While it doesn't offer the highest physical protection, the Death Knight set does have two key strengths: it has good resistance to Lightning, and high Vitality. This set also has a special boon, which makes it incredibly useful for players using an Ancient Dragon build. From the item description: Enhances skills and incantations of the capital's ancient dragon cult.

Where To Find Death Knight Armor Set Location
To get the Death Knight Armor set in Shadow of the Erdtree, you must make your way to the Darklight Catacombs, in the lowest levels of the Scadu Altus. To reach the Darklight catacombs, you'll want to start at the Recluses' River Downstream site of grace. Just to the left, off the cliff, you'll find several large tombstones that will lead you down to a river, right near the first waterfall. Head to the right side of the waterfall's edge, and you'll see another set of tombstones that will take you down yet another level. Once again, you'll find yourself at a river. This time, ride south until you reach the next waterfall. On the left side of the waterfall, you'll find the third and final set of tombstones that will take you down to a mist-covered field. There will be Shadow Militiamen waiting for you at the bottom. Stick to the rock wall on the left and ride east. The Darklight Catacombs will be very close by.
Once you reach the catacombs, you'll want to make your way through to the second elevator. After getting off the elevator, head down the stairs and look over the railing to the left. You'll see a very small ledge that you can land on by using the small gap at the end of the railing. Follow the path to a small opening, which leads to a secret chamber. As soon as you enter, you'll find a gargoyle hanging from the ceiling above, a spell-wielding enemy to the right, and the Death Knight set to the left, on the body of a dead knight. Make sure to take out the enemies first, as they can knock you over the edge if you try to grab the armor first.
