Severance season 2 may have only ended a few months ago, but it seems as though the strange and psychological world of Lumon is only just getting started, as the show's executive producer Ben Stiller would love to introduce a Severance video game, as well as a couple of spin-offs. The mysterious Apple TV show's season 2 finally arrived after a long three-year, nail-biting wait, and, as predicted, it had fans just as confused and on the edge of their seats as its first season.

Due to its strange yet captivating narrative, the popular Apple TV+ series had fans coming up with a whole bunch of wild and wacky theories, one of which surrounded the death of one of Severance's most popular characters, Irving, due to an out-of-place foreshadowing detail. Starring Adam Scott, Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette, Severance season two took viewers deeper inside the walls of Lumon Industries as Mark tried to understand where Ms Casey had disappeared to. Like in the first season, fans were left in the dark about what Lumon was actually up to with its severed employees, and the real reason about Cobel's history with the company as she fought to return to MDR to watch Mark complete Cold Harbor, one of the biggest Severance mysteries. Now that fans have had time to catch their breath after Severance's final episode left even more questions than answers, it's time to jump back into its mysterious world yet again as Stiller reveals his next steps.

Severance fans likely have many questions regarding what's to come. For those curious, here are some shocking theories that fans have come up with.

Ben Stiller Has Two Ideas for Severance Spin-Offs, as Well as a Lumon Video Game

Severance Adam Scott and Ben Stiller

Talking recently to Variety, Ben Stiller and Severance star Adam Scott revealed that they'd love to grow the show's world into other projects, with Stiller stating that he'd love to see a Severance video game based on the series. Exciting fans everywhere, Stiller said that he already had two spin-off ideas, but, naturally, he was reluctant to reveal too much about them just yet. It would "be great to have a Severance video game," expressed Stiller, as Scott wholeheartedly agreed, saying, "I think it lends itself to one."

“There are two specific ideas — that I won’t tell you — that we’ve talked about internally as possible spinoff ideas.”

To really get the juices flowing for Severance's eager fanbase, Stiller said that the spinoff ideas "are nascent," so there could be further news on what's in store for the show's universe sooner rather than later. The producer also revealed that he was initially going to play a doctor character in Severance season one, but that he ended up not going with the idea in the end. “We talked about it. There was a storyline that we were thinking about, but it just didn’t feel right,” Stiller said. “It’s great that I’m not in it. I’m very happy to not have my face on the billboard.” Stiller and Scott are also toying with the idea of producing merchandise like Lumon keyboards, as long as it feels “bespoke and specific to the show.”

The concept of Severance receiving a video game adaptation would certainly appeal to many fans, especially since there are already similarities between the series and The Stanley Parable, a first-person narrative-driven game originally released as a Half-Life 2 mod in 2011 before getting a standalone release in 2013. As for the next season of Severance, Stiller previously revealed that they are currently "working towards starting up our Season 3 work.”
