What Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 perhaps lacks in extensive combat and a lengthy story, it well and truly makes up with stunning visuals, a uniquely curated auditory experience, and a carefully crafted narrative that almost feels like an interactive movie. A big part of what sets the game apart from others on the market are the vocal performances, as Senua's thoughts are accompanied by a narrator and the Furies that have taken residence in her mind.

While the narration efforts in the story play a part in providing context and offering players an insight they wouldn't get purely from Senua's dialogue, there are other perspectives there for players to discover. Those wanting to unlock the thoughts of some of the other key personalities in Hellblade 2 will benefit from learning how to complete the Seeing Things Differently achievement and unlock other narrators for the story.

How to Unlock Alternative Narrators in Hellblade 2

While Hellblade 2 isn't a game that will take players an extensive amount of time to complete, it does add an unexpected element of replayability to those who manage to complete the story. To unlock other narrators for Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2, players will need to complete their first playthrough of the main story.

This, however, only applies to the narration option called "The Others", which is a compilation of vocal contributions from all the secondary characters throughout the game, depending on which chapter players are currently experiencing. There is a third option that will remain locked until the other requirement has been fulfilled.

To unlock the third Narrator, Druth, players will need to find all the lore poles, known as Lorestangir, that are scattered throughout the game. There are 18 in total to find, and will require players to keep a close eye on any paths that stray from the road that the story wants you to take in order to progress.

The significance of the different narrator options in Hellblade 2 extends beyond offering an alternative perspective to the game's narrative, it also is a necessary component to the finished achievement lists of completionists taking on the game. In fairness, there are only 11 achievements to complete in Hellblade 2, and this will likely be one of the last that players tick off, unless they are unable to locate all the stone faces in their first playthrough.

To change narrators in your next playthrough of Senua's Saga, players can either select their chosen narrator when starting a new game, or they can change narration preferences from the settings menu. Any changes to the narrator will apply regardless of whether you are jumping into a particular chapter or starting the story from the beginning again.
