Good Smile Company announced its upcoming Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Nendoroid figures for Wolf and Genichiro Ashina. It's been over five years since the release of FromSoftware's award-winning action-adventure ninja title, and the game still retains a respectable fan base thanks to its unique flowing combat and aesthetic. Now, two of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice's most iconic characters are being transformed into Nendoroid collectibles, and they are nothing short of adorable.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was released back in 2019 and was received with overwhelmingly positive reviews, even going on to win the much sought-after Game of the Year award from The Game Awards. This was the first time a FromSoftware game won the esteemed award and solidified Sekiro as one of the last classics to be released during the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One console generation. Since then, the franchise has remained in a state of limbo, despite repeated calls from fans for DLC or a sequel to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

One Underrated Sekiro Mechanic Deserves Another Shot in a Future FromSoftware Game

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is filled with original ideas and novel mechanics, one of which deserves another chance in future FromSoftware games.

Good Smile Company announced two new upcoming items that could bring a little cheer to longtime fans. Good Smile, which previously unveiled a Nendoroid for FromSoftware's Elden Ring, is now preparing to release Nendoroid collectibles of two of Sekiro's most beloved characters, the eponymous one-armed Wolf and Genichiro Ashina. Each figure also comes with unique accessories. Sekiro is packaged with a single faceplate and his signature sword, Kusabimaru, along with the Mortal Blade and a Death effect sheet. Similarly, Genichiro comes with only one faceplate but is armed with both his katana and Japanese longbow.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Nendoroids Are Now Available For Pre-Order

Fans interested in purchasing a chibi-version of Wolf or one of Sekiro's most satisfying bosses can check out either figure from Good Smile Company's official website. Sekiro is available for $39.99, while Genichiro comes at a slightly more expensive $44.99. However, eager buyers will need to act fast, as pre-orders will only run until Sept. 4. Those lucky enough to reserve their own Nendo Sekiro or Genichiro can expect their items to be shipped to their doorsteps sometime around Q2 2025.

It is heartening to know that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice lingers in fans' thoughts and is still loved by many to this day. Even without a sequel, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice's influence on future FromSoftware projects and the video game industry as a whole means that the title can still live on in spirit, and perhaps eventually find a new lease on life sometime in the far-off future.
