Secretlab is releasing a new collection of chairs based on Overwatch 2, including a Titan Evo 2022 Series themed after Damage hero Genji. The pair of chairs that make up this new collection are being released to help commemorate Blizzard launching Overwatch 2 as a free-to-play early access game on October 4.

Overwatch 2 fans can choose between a Genji-themed chair and a Tracer-themed chair, joining the previous Secretlab Overwatch collection of chairs that are based on Tank hero D.Va and the Overwatch logo. The Best War Games was sent a Regular (R) sized Titan Evo 2022 Series Genji chair for the purposes of this review.
The reason why anyone would get a themed gaming chair like this over a generic one that might cost a little less is the design. And out of Secretlab's vast lineup of specially-themed chairs that are available for gamers to purchase, the Genji chair stands out as one of the company's most eye-popping to date. The leather upholstery is various shades of gray and silver, with neon green shoulder accent patches and stitching to help replicate Genji's primary color scheme in the Overwatch games. The backrest looks like Genji's visor, with a small Overwatch 2 logo embroidered near the top of it.
The front of the chair looks great, but the design on the back is what will catch most peoples' attention. On the back of the chair is a gorgeous dragon design evoking the dragon that appears when Genji uses his Dragonblade Ultimate ability in the game. It's an impressive design and a real highlight of the chair, allowing it to function effectively as a collector's item as much as a daily-use gaming chair.
The dragon design on the back of the Genji chair is impressive, but there is one downside buyers should be aware of. When reclining, it's easy for the bottom of the backrest to get bent, which scuffs up the design a bit.
Beyond that minor complaint, Secretlab has hit it out of the park with the Genji Titan Evo 2022 Series chair. It looks incredible, and it should greatly appeal to not only fans of Genji, but Overwatch 2 fans in general. But an impressive-looking design can only take a gaming chair so far. The more important thing about any gaming chair is how comfortable it is to sit in. Like other Secretlab Titan chairs, this Genji-themed one has no issues in that department.
There are many gaming chairs on the market that are more interested in looking cool than being comfortable to use, but that doesn't apply to the Titan Evo 2022 Series. As far as gaming chairs go, it is difficult to find one that's more comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. Gamers, Twitch streamers, or even those who work from home will get a lot of bang for their buck, and should be able to sit in the chair for extended sessions without experiencing too much discomfort.
The Titan Evo 2022 Series models have some added bells and whistles to boost comfort. Beyond all the usual ways one can typically adjust an office or gaming chair, this model has an impressive lumbar support system that users can easily adjust using knobs on either side of the chair. This allows users to better tune the chair to their specific needs. Speaking of which, the chair gives users more freedom when it comes to armrest placement than one might be used to as well. Besides being able to move them up and down, users can also expand the armrests or bring them closer.
The icing on the cake is the magnetic pillow that sits at top of the backrest. There were a couple of times when the pillow fell off after accidentally leaning back into it too hard, but otherwise, the magnet setup is certainly preferable to the straps that other Secretlab chairs use for their pillows.
The Titan Evo 2022 Series chair from Secretlab is about as feature-rich as one could expect a gaming chair to be, and despite all its features, it's surprisingly easy to assemble. The chair comes with a large poster that has step-by-step instructions on how to assemble it, and the whole process takes about 20 minutes to half an hour. As an added bonus, the flip side of the poster features artwork of Genji's new look in Overwatch 2, along with descriptors for his weapons.
Anyone in the market for a top-of-the-line gaming chair will want to opt for a Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 Series chair. The Genji chair has most others beat in terms of aesthetic value as well, so hardcore Overwatch fans that want a high-quality chair that doubles as a collector's piece can confidently take the plunge.
