Players can hire a bunch of extra NPC hands to help them manage their drug empire in Schedule 1. Handlers in particular will take a ton of tedium away from packaging and moving your products, but bossing them around can be confusing.

If you want to start making serious money in Schedule 1, you'll need to optimize both your products and processes. Having a Handler or two in your base will help a lot, and if you're having trouble with setting their routes, here's a short guide covering how to make them move items around.

Schedule 1: Most Important Retail Locations

Schedule 1 players will need to make some legitimate purchases from time to time. As such, here are the most important retail locations in the game.

How to Set Handler Routes in Schedule 1

Setting up a Handler is quite simple — when assigning stations to them, imagine that you're the one doing the packing. Handlers should start with a container that holds all the products you want to pack, then they need to go to a Packaging Station. Once everything is bagged up, they need to take the packaged products to a separate container holding all ready-to-sell goods for you and your dealers.

Here's a step-by-step breakdown of what you need to do:

  1. Select your Management Clipboard.
  2. Approach your Handler, then press E.
  3. Under the Routes section, click "Add New."
  4. Select "From - None," then left-click on your storage container that contains packing supplies and products.
  5. Select "To - None," then left-click on your Packaging Station.
  6. Click "Add New" again.
  7. Select "From - None," then click on your Packaging Station
  8. Select "To - None," then click on your second storage container.

If done properly, your Handler should now grab products and supplies from a container, bag them in a Packaging Station, then tuck them away in a separate container.

Alternatively, select a container/station with your clipboard and click the button under "Destination - None."

Why is my Handler Not Working?

There could be multiple reasons for this:

  • You don't have supplies in your storage containers.
  • You haven't placed money in the Handler's suitcase.
  • Your Handler's AI pathfinding somehow broke or bugged out.

The first two issues are easy enough to solve. Check your Handler's supply source and the suitcase on their bed if they have the items your Handler needs to work.

As for the third issue, the best way to work around it is to make sure all three of your Handler's stations (the supply container, the Packaging Station, and the output container) are all close to each other. Preferably, these stations should all be next to each other. This way, the Handler will have no trouble reaching them, minimizing the risk of any AI malfunctions — you can always pick your furniture up if needed.
