The Simple Key is a key item in Salt and Sacrifice that players can loot from a chest in the Archridge District of Ashbourne Village. Salt and Sacrifice: How to Get Simple Key

  1. Climb in the first room and exit through the doorway in the top-right corner to enter a courtyard.
  2. Cross the courtyard with Salt and Sacrifice's Marked Inquisitor and climb onto the wooden scaffolding.
  3. Use the Grappling Hook to reach a chest on the left, which contains the Simple Key.

Salt and Sacrifice: Where to Use Simple Key

With the Simple Key in hand, Salt and Sacrifice characters are now ready to use it, and the lockbox that it opens is at the top of the Archridge District. Here is a route that players can follow to reach that lockbox, and it starts from the chest that held the Simple Key:

  1. Navigate to the stone platform above the Simple Key chest and enter the building on the left.
  2. Climb up the right side of this building and pass through the door in the top-right corner.
  3. Wall jump upward and travel left upon reaching the rooftop.
  4. Use the Grappling Hook to cross a gap and walk left as far as possible.
  5. Wall jump off the houses to reach some wooden scaffolding and continue upward.
  6. Travel to the left to find a lockbox, which is opened with the Simple Key and contains the Hideout Key.

Salt and Sacrifice: Where to Use Hideout Key

After obtaining the Hideout Key, Souls-like fans should make their way to the Craterstone Mines in Ashbourne Village. These mines are just above the cave where the Grappling Hook was obtained, and players will encounter a glowing door after traveling to the right for a short time. This door can be opened after three named Mages have been defeated, and this is the route that fans should use when they are able to enter the Stonehall Dungeon:

  2. Continue to descend on this side until it is no longer possible to do so.
  3. Go to the left to reach a door that can be opened with the Hideout Key.
