  • Sakamoto Days Episode 11 release dates vary: March 15 in Japan, March 22 worldwide.
  • First cour ending soon with Episode 11, marking the finale of Part 1 this weekend in Japan.
  • Netflix offers Sakamoto Days with multi-subs and dubs; fans may want to start manga from Chapter 37 before Cour 2 in July.

Sakamoto Days is definitely one of the big anime releases of this season. Loved and hated at the same time, the series became a hot topic in the anime niche, and became one of the most watched anime series on Netflix.

However, the first cour of the anime is finally ending. As Sakamoto Days follows a different schedule in different regions, fans might be a bit confused about when Episode 11 will debut. No worries, we've got you covered.

Sakamoto Days Episode 11 Release Date

sakamoto days ep 10

Episode 11 will be available on different dates in Japan and in the rest of the world, because the Japanese broadcast is one week ahead since the series debuted in January — while only one episode became available worldwide, Netflix Japan added two episodes. For this reason, unless sudden changes takes place, the schedule should be as follows:

  • Sakamoto Days Episode 11 Japanese Release Date: March 15, 2025
  • Sakamoto Days Episode 11 Worldwide Release Date: March 22, 2025

This week Netflix Global will release the 10th episode of the series. It is important to note that the first cour will end with Episode 11, which means that the finale of Part 1 will air this weekend in Japan.

Where to Watch Sakamoto Days Officially

Both Japanese and international audiences can watch the series on Netflix, but in Japan, it also airs on TV. Netflix adds new episodes subbed and dubbed in many languages — even the episodes that debut a week before in Japan are added with multi-subs and dubs, which makes this decision hard to understand, as it favors VPN users and pirate streaming sites.

Where to Pick Up the Manga After the Anime?

Episode 10 adapted the events of Chapter 32 and Chapter 34, skipping Chapter 33 (which is a bit sad, as this chapter features sweet interactions between Sakamoto and his wife). The final episode should cover Chapters 35 and 36, as they continue the story from Chapter 34 — Sakamoto Days has many episodic chapters, but these three are all part of the same mini-narrative.

New fans who want to read the manga before Cour 2 debuts in July should then probably start with Chapter 37. However, the anime skipped many slife-of-life chapters of the original story, so it may be a good idea to start from the beginning anyway.

What To Expect From Sakamoto Days Cour 2

Shin, Taro, and Lu watch a film at a secret movie theatre in Sakamoto Days. Taro sleeps holding eight empty popcorn buckets.

While many fans hope that the production issues will be properly addressed in Part 2, it actually seems hard to happen. When it comes to animation quality, things are unlikely to change either. What could change, though, is debuting new episodes at the same time they are added to Netflix Japan.

As for the plot, Part 2 should continue covering the Death Row Prisoners arc, and also adapt the JCC Transfer Exam arc (and maybe JCC Infiltration as well).

Sakamoto Days Part 1 will finish broadcasting this week in Japan, but international audiences will only be able to access the final episode next week.
