The Vault north of Temple Woods is where players can initiate the Highlighting The Problem Quest in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Completing it will reward players with the Staff of Light, a level 4 Mage weapon.

North Of Temple Woods Vault In RuneScape: Dragonwilds
To reach the Vault north of Temple Woods in RuneScape: Dragonwilds (northwest of Bramblemead Valley), players need to move north towards the building icon on the map. To do so, from the first Lodestone in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, take the main road, then:
- March along it until the end.
- Defeat the Goblins and Giant Rats along the way.
- Use the Windstep Spell to reach the northern cliff.
- Enter the Vault.
How To Clear The Vault North of Temple Woods In RuneScape: Dragonwilds
Vault Core #1
Once inside, avoid the fire traps with the dodging skill, then defeat the Vault Guardian in the northern room. The room east of the enemy on the lower floor has Rune Essence and some Stone boulders; the room on the west leads to a treasure chest guarded by two Giant Rats; and the northern road leads to the first Vault Core in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
Collect whatever you need, then move north to defeat four more Vault Guardians guarding the first Vault Core.
Vault Core #2
Take the door beside the chest, descend the route, and defeat the four Giant Rats. The Stone boulders on the west conceal some Rune Essence; the upper-level room on the east has a chest and a glowing statue (to unlock the Staff of Light in RuneScape: Dragonwilds), and the northern door leads to the next Vault Core location. To reach the upper room, use the Windstep Spell, collect the chest, and then interact with the statue.
Afterward, move back down and take the northern door to the next location. The path will lead to a room with four Vault Guardians guarding a chest. Defeat them, then:
- Move past the northern door
- Defeat another guard
- Take the stairs down.
- Defeat two Giant Rats.
- Avoid the fire traps.
- Face off three more Guardians.
Now, players will find three rooms to explore: northern, eastern, and western. To fully explore the Vault with efficiency, move past the northern door, then:
- Bypass the fire traps.
- Go west.
- Take the stairs.
- Crouch and move under the rocks.
- Defeat the enemies inside
- Collect the chest.
- Use the lever to open the gate inside.
Next, go back to the previous location in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, but this time go east. Use a Pickaxe to destroy the Stone Boulders blocking the door, then:
- Collect the chest inside.
- Use the eastern door.
- Bypass the fire traps.
- Defeat the Giant Rat and the Vault Guardians.
- Use the dodging skill to bypass the traps.
- Grab the Vault Core.
- Move past the rest of the traps.
- Use the lever to unlock the gates.
Vault Core #3
Once players use the previously unlocked door, they can use the door next to it, then use the lever to unlock another shortcut. The lever will also unlock the boss door in the Vault north of Temple Woods. Defeat the Vault Archon guarding the third and final Vault Core, then collect it to clear the Vault once and for all.
