Ashenfall is a large continent home to various materials and many creatures, peaceful and dangerous in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. As it is huge, it could be hard to explore fully without dying and respawning back at your camp, far away from where you were exploring. Therefore, it's important to unlock fast travel for easier exploration.
Teleport in RuneScape: Dragonwilds can be achieved by crafting a certain structure that doesn't require many materials. You can unlock the recipe for the structure quite early, as it's essential to start working on fast traveling when you discover a faraway region later on.

How To Unlock Fast Travel In RuneScape: Dragonwilds
To unlock teleport in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you need to acquire a Vault Core and unlock the Lodestone structure recipe in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. To easily find a Vault Core, head into the Temple Woods Vault located south of Bramblemead Valley and explore it thoroughly to reach the core. This will make players learn the Lodestone recipe, which is the platform you place down and use to teleport from one area to another.
You will need to collect the following materials to craft it:
- Stone x32: Collect some from the ground or destroy boulders using a pickaxe or spells. It can be found anywhere in Ashenfall.
- Rune Essence x20: Destroy Rune Essence stones using a pickaxe or spells. They're usually found in vaults or floating around a Rune Essence Geyser.
- Vault Core x1: Located inside vaults, usually guarded by tough enemies or hidden behind a secret passage.
Upon collecting the required materials, you need to craft a couple of them and place them in different areas to start teleporting, but make sure to place one near your camp to return to it easily. Approach one and interact with it to open the map, then choose the other Lodestone you want to teleport to. You can make as many as you desire and place them anywhere you want, but keep in mind that there is a price for using the Lodestones.
It's highly recommended to pin the Lodestone location on the map so you can find it easily as you explore a new area. It's also best to place the teleport waypoint in a safe area.
Each time players want to teleport, they need to use the Law Rune, which is craftable on the Rune Altar using Rune Essence. There is no set amount, as the price you get depends on how much your item weighs and how far away you are from the Lodestone you wish to teleport to. For example, if the distance is not that great, and you have moderate weight, it can cost from 2 to 14 Law Runes. However, being heavy and far away can cost around 50 Law Runes, if not more.
