RuneScape: Dragonwilds is now available in early access, and players who purchase the game ahead of its official 1.0 launch will receive some bonus rewards to help them stand out next to everyone else. While the rewards don't offer much in the way of gameplay benefits or buffs, most RuneScape: Dragonwilds players will likely still appreciate the bonus content on offer.
Dragonwilds is a co-op spin-off of the incredibly popular RuneScape, adapting its DNA into a survival adventure in the same vein as Valheim. Players can acquire new gear and craft new items to customize their appearance and furnish their bases, and the early adopter bonuses available during Dragonwilds' early access period give players a few more ways to express themselves.
How Runescape: Dragonwilds' Survival Mechanics Build On The MMO's Skill System
Upcoming survival game Runescape: Dragonwilds takes the skill system of classic RuneScape and transports it into an expansive survival sandbox.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds Early Adopter Rewards
These are the rewards available to early adopters who purchase RuneScape: Dragonwilds during early access:
- Pioneer's Scarf
- Pioneer's Tapestry
- Pioneer's Cape
- Two pieces of music from the game
These rewards will be available throughout the entire early access period, so there's no rush for those who are still on the fence regarding Dragonwilds. The game has plenty of content planned on its roadmap, so players can still claim these early adopter rewards down the line if they'd rather wait for more substantial updates to hit this RuneScape spin-off.
How to Claim Early Adopter Rewards in RuneScape: Dragonwilds
The early adopter rewards aren't just added directly to players' inventories. RuneScape: Dragonwilds is a survival crafting game, so players need to craft their early adopter bonuses themselves.
Thankfully, the recipes for all of the bonus cosmetics are unlocked right from the start of the game. All players need to do is build a crafting table. There, they'll see the Pioneer's Scarf, Pioneer's Cape, and the rest of their early adopter rewards. They have incredibly cheap crafting costs, too, so players won't need to farm a lot of items in order to construct them.
Old School RuneScape: 9 Pro Tips For Leveling Mining
Leveling skills such as mining in Old Schol RuneScape requires plenty of patience, but there are ways to improve the process.
As for the music tracks, those are included as a separate DLC download and are classified as a soundtrack in players' Steam libraries. The music tracks should download automatically when players purchase and install Dragonwilds, but if they don't, the soundtrack can be found in the downloadable content section of the RuneScape: Dragonwilds Steam store page. It's not a full soundtrack, unfortunately, but the two included music tracks are better than nothing at least.
The early adopter rewards don't give players a huge advantage when starting RuneScape: Dragonwilds, but they do provide some minor buffs for beginners thanks to their set bonus perks. Players can enjoy improved stealth speed and more when equipping the Pioneer set, which can make the early stages of survival in RuneScape: Dragonwilds a bit more bearable. These buffs will let players focus more on grinding levels like in Old School RuneScape.
