Rune Factory 5, like many other farming games, gives players the option to fish. This mechanic is pretty straightforward, and it can be a great way for players to take a break from the game’s more stressful features. It also doesn’t hurt that fishing can turn a profit. Players can do a few things with the fish they catch. Fish can be sold via the shipping box, or be given as gifts to one of the game’s many characters. They’re also useful for cooking, as fish are the main ingredients in many of Rune Factory 5’s recipes.
Rune Factory 5 players will need a fishing rod to get started. Luckily, it is pretty easy to find one. Finding the perfect fishing spot, however, can be a bit more difficult. This is especially true for players who want to catch a certain type of fish, such as salmon.
When Are Salmon Available In Rune Factory 5?
Salmon can be found in Rune Factory 5 during both the autumn and summer seasons. This is true of several locations across Rigbarth and the Overworld. Players can also acquire them in Cloudheim during the game’s winter and spring seasons. Salmon can be sold for 80 Gold, or they can be purchased for 1,350 Gold.
Where To Find Salmon in Rune Factory 5
Rune Factory 5 players will be able to find salmon in several places throughout the game, including:
- Cloudheim: Salmon are a common catch here. The fish can be found in Cloudheim in the winter and spring seasons, but only in fishing spots on the first floor.
- The Meline Crystal Caverns: Players can catch salmon at a pond here. This is found by walking towards the western area of the Meline Crystal Caverns.
- The Phoros Woodlands: Players can catch salmon in the river in the Phoros Woodlands. Keron Pond is also nearby, but it is not possible to catch any salmon there.
- Rigbarth's Oceans: Players can catch salmon along the shore of Rigbarth's oceans.
- Rigbarth's Pond of Hope: Salmon are not a common catch here, but they can be found occasionally. Players can find this pond by walking to the west of the Blue Moon Inn.
- Rigbarth's River: Players can catch salmon at the same fishing spot where they have the option to learn about Tag Team Fishing. This is the main river in Rigbarth, and it leads into the surrounding oceans, where the fish may also be found.
