According to a recent Reddit post, the Telegram dataminer group 1BF is claiming that Battlefield 6’s current release date is October 10. The message warned, however, that the date may be subject to change, and that fans shouldn’t “take it as 100% truth.” The leak also revealed that the game will have a “Phantom Edition,” likely similar to Battlefield 2042’s Ultimate Edition, although no details were provided. Additionally, it appears that Battlefield 6 may not have the Russian language, as it was not present in the data that the dataminers had access to.

Battlefield 6 Is Reportedly Releasing October 10

The 1BF Telegram has been a frequent source of leaks and rumors for Battlefield 6 in the past, revealing gameplay information, concept art, and Battlefield Labs Alpha details. Lending even more credence to the release window rumor is the fact that an October 10 launch would line up with how EA has done things previously. Battlefield 4 released on October 29, BF1 on October 21, BF5 on November 20, and BF2042 on November 19. It’s evident that for mainline Battlefield games, an October or November release date is EA’s preference. Chances are good that this remains true for BF6 as well.

That said, fans should still take this rumored release date with a grain of salt. If this leak is true, it is very likely that Electronic Arts and DICE will offer official confirmation in the Battlefield 6 reveal trailer scheduled for July 24 at 8 AM PT.
