Assassin's Creed Mirage is the next installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise, and sources suggest it could come out earlier than many gamers expected. Assassin's Creed Mirage has reportedly been delayed twice internally but is still scheduled for a 2023 release date. However, it seems the developers have made significant progress and might release the game a few months earlier than predicted.
Assassin's Creed Mirage is highly anticipated as it will return to the series' roots by removing the RPG-style mechanics and focusing more on stealth, exploration, assassinations, and parkour. Naturally, the gaming world is excited to know about Assassin's Creed Mirage's release date. The latest Assassin's Creed Mirage trailer hinted at a 2023 release and revealed crucial gameplay and story information. Later, it was believed that internal delays might've pushed the launch of Assassin's Creed Mirage to the second half of 2023, possibly around August. Now, one fan has discovered something that suggests that Assassin's Creed Mirage could be released much sooner.
Reddit user danettte shared an image that reveals Assassin's Creed Mirage could hit the global markets in March next year instead of the earlier estimated launch date of August. The user has shared a screenshot of a Romanian eCommerce website called Altex, which is seemingly accepting preorders for Assassin's Creed Mirage. In addition, the picture also shows crucial information about the launch as it says Assassin's Creed Mirage will release on March 9, 2023.
Meanwhile. Assassin's Creed fans on Reddit were skeptical of this latest development as Ubisoft has not given any official statement about the same. Most gamers still believe Assassin's Creed Mirage will release as per the original schedule and come out in August 2023. On the other hand, some fans are optimistic and are hopeful that the developers might announce a Ubisoft Forward in late December or January to focus on Assassin's Creed Mirage.
Understandably, the gaming community would welcome an early release for Assassin's Creed Mirage, but nobody wants an unfinished game. There are plenty of examples of studios that face backlash for releasing a video game earlier than expected, only for it to have numerous technical and performance issues. Many gamers are excited to play as Basim in Assassin's Creed Mirage and explore the medieval city of Baghdad as soon as possible. But at the same time, Assassin's Creed fans hope Ubisoft will not join the list of developers who release unfinished games to maximize gains.
Assassin's Creed Mirage releases in 2023 for Luna, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
