Spider-Man and the Sinister Six are set to appear in the upcoming Rocket League event called Haunted Hallows. Each Rocket League season introduces new cosmetics, with some featuring crossovers with popular franchises, and the next update brings Spider-Man to the game.

Since it was released, Rocket League has offered players the ability to edit their cars to match their preferences. This allowed players to change the car body and its decals, alter the paint finishes and colors, swap wheels, and more. Since then, Rocket League has collaborated with other popular IPs like Fortnite, Jurassic World, and James Bond. Among the early collaborations were Back to the Future, Batman, and Fast and Furious. While some crossover cosmetics could be unlocked for free, others are listed in the in-game Shop. Rocket League has confirmed that various Spider-Man cosmetics are joining the Haunted Hallows update.

What's Your Go-To Car Body In Rocket League?

I'm a pretty basic guy, admittedly, so I'll generally go for the standard styles like Dominus or Breakout. I did have some fun games with the more chaotic looking designs like the PS Sweet Tooth one and Grog.

The Rocket League Twitter account recently shared a trailer detailing some changes in the upcoming Haunted Hallows update which drops on October 18. The video begins by showcasing a Spider-Man car having Spidey Sense before nearly being blown up by a car resembling Venom. The video shows different car cosmetics highlighting heroes and villains from the Spider-Man series. This includes Classic Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Punk, Scarlet Spider, the Green Goblin, Morbius, Mysterio, Venom, and Symbiote Spider-Man. A unique Goal Explosion also shows the symbiote expanding across the field, with its corresponding spider symbol remaining in the net. Haunted Hallows runs until November 4, giving gamers plenty of time to unlock the Spider-Man cosmetics that they want.

Beyond the addition of Spider-Man-themed cosmetics, there will be two new game modes added to the Rocket League rotation. While neither Spooky Cube nor Haunted Heatseeker were explicitly detailed, both game modes are returning from earlier seasons. Because Haunted Hallows is a seasonal event, players can unlock Decals, Toppers, a Player Banner, and more by completing 13 challenges. Other than the free progression unlocks, players can purchase the Spider-Man Mega Bundle which includes many cosmetics for 3,000 Credits. Celebrating the Halloween season, Psyonix is also introducing Drift Woods (Night) for Haunted Hallows.

Because Psyonix has detailed what will be free and what will cost players money, gamers can decide what to prioritize ahead of Haunted Hallows. As Psyonix continues to update Rocket League, there may be even more Spider-Man collaborations to come in the future.
