With Rocket League's fuel continuing its burn, and a few solid cars added recently, we thought we'd revisit this list of the current best Rocket League cars. Of course, skilled players can make the most out of just about any car, but these are the all-around best, sleekest, and most effective.
25 Redline
Breakout Hitbox
A product of the recent Drive Days special event in early 2023, the Redline quietly hit the scene as a great option for Breakout fans. While much of its allure takes the form of flashy cosmetics and design, the Redline proves capable to those fine with a bit of a learning curve.
While described by some as being closer to the more familiar Dominus hitbox, its Breakout build gives it more of an aerial presence. It's also somewhat wide — and a bit higher than most Dominus builds — making it ideal for shooting and blocking goals.
24 Grog

The Grog is several years old, making its debut via the Chaos Run DLC pack in 2015. Yet, this rare car began making a name for itself as an underrated pick. It's relatively user-friendly and versatile, recently getting the Octane hitbox, which is preferred by many RL vets and newbies alike.
It should be noted that the somewhat mismatched design compared to its hitbox may be a bit jarring to some. Still, this car has it where it counts, with its maneuverability and a powerhouse nature — making it a solid choice for more aggressive players.

Zipping on the scene in late 2015, this rare Octane car was obtainable via the Revenge of the Battle-Cars DLC, though it dates back in some form to Rocket League's spiritual predecessor, a similar sports racer called Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars.
Staying true to its name, the car is nimble and drives smoothly, allowing players to fly around the arena and cover a lot of bases. It's a great, similarly balanced alternative to the fan-favorite Octane car.

Still, with a build similar to Plank, this is typically a more advanced car, and its narrow body means that those who use it will want to have solid timing and aim. The turning radius of this long car can be a bit spotty, which may turn off some newcomers.

No, this is not a new reward car for a Forza Horizon game, but, a fairly recent arrival for the Rocket League lineup, and an appealing one. As touted on the game's official website, this sleek vehicle exudes peak hypercar performance and takes design inspiration from the EB110. Thankfully, the game's rendition of this beast isn't quite as exclusive or as pricey as the real-life model, which costs nearly nine million dollars!
Along with showing off the car itself, gamers will want to flaunt some tricks and maneuvers with the Centodieci. This is because the short-profile Plank hitbox means it'll thrive with more advanced moves like dribbles and flicks. The DLC car has made appearances in the item shop for 1,100 Credits in late 2022 and early 2023.

An often overlooked choice, this car sports the reliable, solid Octane body while also having elements of the flatter Dominus and jack-of-all-trades Hybrid. Its smaller build may not be the greatest defensively, but its relatively tall height and pronounced nose make it solid offensively, especially for Hoops.
The Takumi also thrives while airborne, with its ergonomic build and smooth, even-keeled controls. This car can be obtained from the Supersonic Fury DLC pack.

This Dominus-hitbox vehicle is keeping up with the best of them, with some even claiming that it holds its own against the very car that bears the name origin of its hitbox.
Others have remarked that the Admiral manages to feel tighter and easier to control than most of its Dominus ilk. Still, being relatively new, the jury is still somewhat out as to all of the car's nuances and its competitive potential, as compared to the fan-favorite classic Dominus.
16 Nissan Fairlady Z

After already making a name for itself as an appealing choice for Forza Horizon 5 drivers, this sleek Nissan is now breaking new ground as it makes its way onto Rocket League as a season 15 car. This one features the solid Dominus hitbox, though it tends to feel mechanically more like an Octane build.
The car is quite agile for its size, and yields a solid hitbox that's great for accurate aerial shots. It's a fairly well-rounded vehicle that just feels good to drive. Time will tell if this one becomes a staple choice for competitive players, but it's worth taking for a spin.
