Developer Teyon and publisher Nacon have revealed the release date for RoboCop: Rogue City’s Unfinished Business expansion, and fans of the cyborg police officer won’t have to wait long to continue ridding the city of criminals. RoboCop: Rogue City is based on the iconic RoboCop film series, returning actor Peter Weller to the front line as the titular character.

First released in 2023, RoboCop: Rogue City is a first-person shooter taking place in Old Detroit, and players man the cyborg to eradicate criminals and take part in investigations alongside partner Anne Lewis from the films. RoboCop: Rogue City exists among some stellar FPS games with the best death animations, joining the likes of Halo: Combat Evolved, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, and GoldenEye 007, and the expansion is expected to deliver the same adrenaline-fueled intensity.

RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business was announced back in March, and a brand-new story trailer has revealed the release date to be July 17, coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, and PC. During the expansion, players will be tasked with ascending the OmniTower commandeered by armed mercenaries in a brand-new story, and the fresh material will welcome fans into the shared history between RoboCop and the people on his radar. Since Unfinished Business is a standalone expansion, the plot will pick up after the events of Rogue City, but players do not need to own the base game to play the expansion.
