Like any RPG, Type Souls has dozens of unique features and abilities that you can use to create builds. Even within a single faction, players have a huge variety of playstyles. However, some passive abilities can only be obtained late in the game. This tier list ranks all Vows from best to least effective in Type Souls.
Vows are passive abilities added with the Hell Update. Any race can obtain them, but be prepared to invest a significant amount of time.

How to Unlock Type Souls Vow
Unlike other similar games, Type Souls gives players quite a bit of freedom, so some abilities and items can be obtained without relying on randomness. However, some perks still drop based on RNG. Unfortunately, this includes Vows.
So, to obtain Vows for your character in Type Souls, you need to go a long way, namely, exploring Hell. The NPC you need is located in the labyrinth in the Third Circle. It's important to note that to unlock the entrance to Hell, you must have Bankai, Res, or Vol.
In the labyrinth, you'll want to find the Bamboo Hat Man NPC. He'll challenge you to a fight, so you should prepare in advance. If you win, he'll reward you with a random Vow in Type Souls. These passives can also be obtained at a low chance during Soul Wars and Ranked.

Type Souls Vow Tier List
Vows are passive skills that either increase your stats or add new abilities that activate under certain conditions. Of course, not all of them are equally effective, although it's worth noting that all Vows are fairly balanced.
Here's how all Type Souls' Vows rank in terms of their effectiveness in battle.

You can summon a Spirit version of your character that mimics your moves and attacks, excluding submoves. However, it has lower stats than yours. |

Vow of Resurgence |
B Tier |
You receive a 5% debuff to your stats, including maximum Reiatsu. However, when dying, you can revive with a 15% buff to all stats. At the same time, your health will begin to drain, which will kill you if your HP drops to 0. |
|
Vow of Sway |
C Tier |
Every perfectly dodged attack or parry fills the bar. If your guard is broken and the bar is full, you knock back the enemy. This ability has a 120-second cooldown and is not available to players with Ancient Vasto. |
