Since Type Soul follows the original Bleach manga and anime, Jidanbo is found exactly where you'd expect: Soul Society. He spawns by a huge archway near the bamboo garden and not far from the location of the Khaotic NPC (location pictured above).

If you come to this place, and there is no boss, don’t worry. Jidanbo spawns in Type Soul every 40 minutes of server time. Wait for a little while, and your target will appear.

As befits a World boss, Jidanbo has a large health pool, high damage, and a variety of attacks. Also, be prepared for the fact that he is quite fast. The most dangerous are his melee combos and slam attacks. The latter can damage you with a shockwave even if you are not close to the boss.
