Lately, one thing Grow a Garden players always look forward to with new updates is profitable crops. Thankfully, the devs have been listening and continue to roll out new seeds to grow on the farm. One of the latest is the Celestiberry seed.
From the name (which sounds a lot like the valuable Celestial mutation), it seems like a plant that could make you super rich. But how good is it really? If you’re curious, here’s a quick look at how to get the Celestiberry seed in Grow a Garden and whether it’s worth spending your money on.
Grow a Garden: Complete Twilight Shop Guide
Twilight Shop is the latest spot for grabbing exclusive seeds, pets, and cosmetics in Grow a Garden; here’s how to find it and what's inside.
How to Get Celestiberry Seed in Grow a Garden
To get the Celestiberry seed in Grow a Garden, you’ll need to head into the Twilight Shop and buy it using in-game currency. Like the Blood Moon Shop, the Twilight Shop only appears during the Night Event. However, the shop won't show up if the Blood Moon event is live.
The Celestiberry seeds cost 15,000,000 Sheckles, and they're usually easy to find in stock. If you prefer spending real money, you can also buy them for 599 Robux, even when they aren't available in the shop. That said, Celestiberry seeds can’t be dug up by pets like the Golden Lab or Dog, and they can’t be stolen by the Red Fox either, since it’s an event-exclusive crop. But if you send a Raccoon to a neighbor’s farm that’s growing this plant, you might snag a fruit from it.
Celestiberry Seed's Selling Value in Grow a Garden
This crop is one of the most expensive additions to GaG's berry fruit lineup, which already includes Strawberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, and Cranberry. It’s also a multi-harvest crop, meaning you’ll get several fruits per round. The base sell value of a single Celestiberry in Grow a Garden is around 7,000 Sheckles. But if you manage to mutate it, the profit can jump into the millions, if not billions.
Is Celestiberry Worth Buying in Grow a Garden
Celestiberry is pretty pricey compared to other re-harvestable options in the game. For instance, a Beanstalk seed costs 10 million (that’s five million less), and its pods can sell for 18,000 to 20,000 Sheckles each. Even a Cacao, priced at just 2.5 million, can give you fruits worth around 9,928 Sheckles.
Profit-wise, it's on par with Grapes and Peppers, both of which cost way less. So, it might be smarter to stick with those and save your money for better plants. But if you still want to try Celestiberry, use pets with mutation abilities like Dragonfly, Praying Mantis, or Polar Bear to help boost your berry value.
