Since its release, Grow a Garden has acquired a variety of different mechanics, some of which can seem quite confusing. One of these is pets, which have unique passives that are useful for your garden. Pets not only make your garden more lively, but they also help grow crops (most of them have abilities that affect plants).
But, to increase their effectiveness, you need to upgrade them. And, the higher the level of the pets, the better their abilities! This guide will tell you how to level up pets fast in Grow a Garden.

Pets Upgrading in Grow a Garden, Explained
Getting pets in Grow a Garden is only half the battle. Even after you have collected the required amount of money and purchased pet eggs, you will need to spend time raising them. First of all, depending on the rarity of the egg, the hatching time may vary. Once the pet finally starts wandering around your garden, you will need to upgrade it in Grow a Garden.
Luckily, this does not require complex moves. Each pet in Grow a Garden increases its level by passively earning EXP. However, it is worth noting that this only works while the pet is well-fed. Otherwise, they will not receive EXP. So, you just need to feed your pets on time to increase their level.
