Roblox Won't Honor the Mistaken Headless Horseman Listing
Nevertheless, the Headless Horseman bundle made a surprise reappearance in the in-game store on November 16. As spotted by Reddit user PomdDestructioneer, the character was listed at no cost, allowing anyone fast enough to react to the listing to grab it free of charge. The Roblox team had corrected its apparent mistake after around 15 minutes, though not before at least dozens of players managed to add the Headless Horseman bundle to their inventories. However, the developers won't be honoring the mistaken listing.
Taking to the game's official forums, Roblox Developer Relations representative InceptionTime confirmed that the bundle was "unintentionally" put on sale in mid-November, together with several other items. The developers promptly identified the cause of the bug that resulted in the inadvertent listing. Any "affected bundle(s) acquired during this period" will consequently be deleted from the players' inventories in the near future, the official explained, adding that the developers will soon start directly notifying the impacted users about their response to the issue.

Roblox Corporation's reaction to the mistaken listing is far from unexpected, as it's only been a few weeks since the company made the controversial decision to disallow all free body and head listings on the Roblox store. It's hence not surprising that the developers aren't eager to let players keep one of the most expensive bundles in the game free of charge, even if it was their own mistake that allowed them to procure it in the first place.
For added context, the Headless Horseman bundle was retailing at 31,000 Robux throughout its official sale period in October. The package was hence valued at over $275, even going by the most generous exchange rate that only applies to purchases of the largest, $199.99 currency bundle. Granted, there are several other ways to get Robux in Roblox, but all of them revolve around content creation, like designing cosmetics or developing a whole new game, thus requiring a significant time investment.
