Complete Bond Missions

Players won't be able to romance a character right off the bat. So, it is absolutely necessary to improve the bond. As you play through the story, you should notice missions associated with specific characters. Complete these missions to improve your bond with the character.

Give gifts

Gifts play a huge part in increasing the bond with characters in Rise of the Ronin. Players can find gifts from different sellers or as rewards for completing missions. Each character has a unique taste, so don't give everyone the same gift.

Choose Favorable Dialogues

The final method to increase bonds is by siding with the character during conversations. If you are talking to a character, choose the dialogue option that favors them. Don't go against them, as it will not improve your bond.

After you have unlocked Favor. It is time to improve it. This can be done with the same methods that players use to strengthen bonds. Upon increasing the Favor, you will be able to enter a Veiled Vow with a character. To start a Veiled Vow, players must head to the character's location and choose the appropriate option. This will allow them to romance the character.

Some characters will not like it if you form Veiled Vows with multiple individuals at the same time.
