Reverse: 1999

The long awaited Version 1.3 of Reverse: 1999 has landed in servers and players who have encountered the previous version will notice similar gameplay in this new event. Journey to Mor Pankh is also broken down into two parts, each split between a 20-day time period with a Limited Character Gacha Event for the respective segments. The first part of the event includes a new limited 6 - star character, Kaalaa Baunaa and one of the sub - events includes her Character Story.

Between Dusts and Stars will introduce players to the life of Kaalaa Bauna and her role in the Dipa Festival. If you have already completed the previous versions Limited Event: Nightmare at Green Lake, you will notice the similarities in the gameplay from Tooth Fairy’s Character Story puzzle. Kaalaa Baunaa’s Character Event works the same way, as players will have to pick up various materials within a limited number of moves called Focus.

Stage 1 - The Procrastination Syndrome

Reverse 1999 - The Procrastination Syndrome Guide

The first stage acts as a tutorial level of sorts and is the easiest to figure out. Simply move:

Up x 4 > Left x 3 (grab the cereal bar) > Right x 5 > Down x 3 (grab the final cereal bar) > Up x 6 (towards the exit)

It is not completely necessary to engage in combat for this level as it cannot be unlocked.

Stage 2 - Twinkling Stars

The second stage introduces characters to a new mechanism called Dread which will immediately trigger Shadows that will follow you until you reach the exit. This stage has a roundabout route to reach the Exit, so just follow this guide to clear the level.

Down > Left > Left > Down > Down > Right x 3 (to collect the document) > Down > Left > Right > Down > Left (grab the last document) > Right > Right > Down > Right (to the exit)

Stage 3 - Confrontation

At this level, you have to talk to 3 Scholars to clear the stage and successfully not get caught by the Shadow following you.

Left x 3 > Up x 2 > Left > Up (to the 1st Scholar) > Left > Up > Up > Left > Left (to the 2nd Scholar) > Down x 2 > Right x 7 ( and you will meet the final Scholar)
The exit will appear now, so: Up x 2 > Left x 3 > Up (to the exit)

Stage 4 - The Art of Defense

This stage is the same as the previous one, where you have to talk to 3 professors to clear the level.

Left x 4 > Down x 2 (and talk to the 1st Professor) > Left x 3 > Down x 2 > Right x 3 > Down x 3 > Left x 3 > Up (talk to the 2nd Professor) > Up x 4 > Right x 3 > Down x 2 > Right x 4 > Down x 3 > Left x 2 (and talk to the final Professor)
This will clear up the pathway, and you can head to the exit along this route: Left x 2 > Up x 7 > Right x 4 (and you will reach the exit)

Stage 5 - Either This or That

The fifth stage is fairly easy and similar to the first stage. You only have to pick up some study subjects and eventually reach the exit. You are free to choose which study subject to pick up before heading to the destination.

Up x 6 (to collect the first material) > Down x 2 > Right > Left > Right x 2 > Up > Down x 4 > Right (to the exit)

Stage 6 - The Fading Stars

The sixth stage is a little more difficult than the previous stages as certain areas of the map will break off after passing through them, so follow this route to make sure you interact with all the telescopes and reach the exit. Keep in mind that the route is quite lengthy and time-consuming.

Up > Left x 4 > Right x 2 > Left x 3 > Down (and you’ll hit the 1st telescope) > Right > Up > Right > Up x 3 > Right x 4 > Up x 2 (for the second telescope) > Left x 2 > Down x 2 > Left x 3 > Up x 2 > Left x 2 (for the final telescope) > Down > Right > Down > Right (to the exit)

Stage 7 - Celestial Bodies and Mythologies

We are almost at the end of the event and the 7th stage is comparatively simple to the rest of the others. You only have to pick up one book and some loose pages to clear the stage.

Right > Left > Right x 2 > Down > Right x 2 (to pick up the book) > Down > Left > Down > Down (to get the loose page) > Left > Up > Left > Left > Down > Left (to the exit)

Stage 8 - Dust and Stars

The 8th stage is completely different as this is where players will need to engage in combat and win the battle. If you head: Up > Right x 4 > Up x 3 > Down x 4 > Right x 2 (you will reach the challenge)

In this challenge, you can only take an Insight III Level 30 Kaalaa Baunaa into the battle without any other helpers. It would help to strategize here and fuse cards together to deal as much damage as soon as possible. After winning the battle, move Up one space and a new map will show up. You’ll need to find the truth behind the constellation now, so:

Left x 2 > Up > Right > Up > Left > Down > Left x 5 > Down x 2 (to receive the constellation) > Down > Right x 2 > Down > Up > Right > Left > Down x 2 > Right x 2 (take the final constellation) > Up > Right x 3 (to reach the exit)
