Resident Evil 4's Separate Ways DLC provides players with an alternate view of the events from the game's main campaign, playing as the series' famed femme fatale Ada Wong. Players will have to fight their way through seven chapters of new puzzles and bosses as Ada attempts to recover the amber sample for Albert Wesker.
Similar to the 16 chapters of Resident Evil 4's main story, players can find yellow herbs throughout the Separate Ways chapters. When combined with a red and green herb, these resources will fully restore and increase Ada's total health, and consuming six of these three herb blends will raise her HP to the max and complete the Botanist challenge. There are several yellow herbs available to players throughout the seven chapters, find them easily with this guide.
Note: This guide is a work in progress and will be updated as the remaining few yellow herb locations are discovered.
Chapter 1
There are no yellow herbs in Chapter 1.
Chapter 2
The first yellow herb in Chapter 2 can be found just after the first area is cleared after the first Bullhead Brute is taken down. Head forward through the gate the brute spawned behind and find the yellow herb on some wooden pallets on the left.
A second yellow herb is available towards the end of Chapter 2 when players make their way back to the church. Head to the front of the church and find the yellow herb on the left end of the burial plot inside the church gates.
Chapter 3
In Chapter 3, players will find a yellow herb in the hallway that leads to the room where Luis and Leon are locked up at the start of Chapter 2 in the main story. Just before the ramp that leads down to the room the two are chained in, players can collect the yellow herb on their right in a dark corner stacked on some boxes.
Chapter 4
The yellow herb in Chapter 4 will be found on the last section of the castle wall after exiting the courtyard, right after Ada grapples across the wood bridge that was destroyed by El Gigante in the main story. The yellow herb will be found against the wall on the right.
Chapter 5
A yellow herb can be found in Chapter 5 relatively early when players are making their way across the upper section of Gregorio's waterway. As players follow the notes left by Luis, they will encounter a group of zealots guarding the walkway at a corner with some breakable crates. Once the zealots are eliminated, players can collect the yellow herb to the right of the crates.
Chapter 6
The sixth Chapter offers a yellow herb close to the start, as players are making their way to the upper level of the lift down to the factory and the wrecking ball fight from the main story. After opening the double doors to the upper platform players will find the yellow herb on the ground on the left.
Chapter 7
There are no yellow herbs in Chapter 7.
