His role was far more substantial in Village, and after the events of that game, it set Chris up as a partial caretaker to Ethan and Mia's superpowered daughter, Rosemary. Chris Redfield's legacy has helped shape the franchise, and if there is any long-running character that seems primed to return, it's him.
