The Resident Evil 4 remake features a new side mission system called Merchant Requests. These are files found around each level, and they usually send Leon on a quest to destroy blue medallions in an area. Once the request has been completed, players can turn it in the next time they encounter a merchant. Turning in a request grants Leon a separate currency called Spinels.
Spinels can be used at the merchant's shop to trade for rare and valuable items. Some weapon attachments can only be acquired through trading Spinels. Players can find the Destroy the Blue Medallions 5 request early on in Chapter 14. Use this guide to destroy all the medallions in the cargo depot.
Map Locations
The request can be found at the beginning of Chapter 14 after Leon has rescued Ashley again. The file is posted on a wall right outside the upcoming merchant shop. Picking up the file will show the general area of the medallions on Leon's map. Use the merchant shop, loot the lockers, and save in preparation for the next few areas.
Blue Medallion #1
After exiting the Merchant shop, look to the right. The first medallion is hanging from the stairwells by the cliff. Shoot at it from the gap next to the barbed wire fencing.
Blue Medallion #2
The second medallion can be found by turning around and looking back towards the merchant shop. Use a scoped RE4 weapon to find the medallion hanging off the yellow buildings above the previous area.
Blue Medallion #3
Climb the stairs opposite the Merchant shop, then drop to the area below. There will be a small group of enemies to take care of. These are normal island enemies with electric staffs and body armor. Defeat them to make the search easier. The third medallion is on the side of a container down south in the cargo depot. Look for the dangling cable nearby that has physics.

The fourth medallion is in the northern part of the cargo depot. It is hanging behind a stack of large crates next to another cable.
Blue Medallion #5
The final medallion is hanging off of a circular industrial structure in the southwestern part of the cargo depot. Look to the left while climbing the stairs that rise up out of the lower level of the cargo depot. Players can use the ladder where they dropped into the cargo depot to return to the merchant if they want to turn the request in immediately.
