Remnant 2 is a best-selling third-person shooter RPG that takes players on a journey through strange and terrifying worlds as they try to survive against deadly creatures and prevent humanity from going extinct. As gamers progress through the unique storyline, they unlock various side quests.
By completing these quests, players can access new areas and are rewarded with unique Quest items. These special items are designed to reveal hidden areas in the world of Remnant 2. One such useful Quest item in the game is the Magic Quill. This guide covers everything players need to know about the Magic Quill and its uses in Remnant 2.
Where to Find the Magic Quill
To find the Magic Quill, gamers need to explore the dark hallways of the Beatific Palace, which is located in the Losomn area of Remnant 2. As they navigate through the ruins of the Palace, they can find a mysterious NPC named “Jester.” The Jester can be found sitting on top of a massive pile of bones.
If the player approaches and interacts with him, the Jester will stand up and begin a juggling performance. After his performance is over, the Jester extends his hand and gives the player a Magic Quill.
By using the “Clap” emote during the Jester’s performance, players will be rewarded with an additional item known as the Jester’s Bell.
What to Do with the Magic Quill
The Magic Quill allows players to access other biomes attached to the Beatific Palace, by granting them the ability to create portals. The item’s description states that “ the magic lies in the implement, not the medium.” Therefore, nobody knows whether the portals are drawn in ink, water, or blood or are carved into the stone.
It is quite simple to use the Magic Quill; players just need to find half-painted, fancy ornate walls, which are available throughout the empty Beatific Palace. As they approach one of these half-erased walls, players will be prompted to interact with the wall using a quest item from their inventory. All they need to do is select the Magic Quill and wait for it to magically create a doorway out of thin air.
Once the portal is complete, players can go through it to arrive at a new location in the Losomn world of Remnant 2.
