Warden is an archetype in Remnant 2's The Dark Horizon DLC, and many players will undoubtedly be interested in unlocking it. While it is not extremely difficult to unlock the Warden archetype, fans that are pursuing this endeavor will need to visit a very specific location. This guide is here to detail how to reach that location, and it will help players unlock the Warden archetype in Remnant 2.

Remant 2: How to Unlock Warden Archetype
Reach the Withered Necropolis
Players will begin The Dark Horizon DLC in the Agronomy Sector, a large open map that is traversed using a series of Gliders. While players can find several exits on this map, the one that is relevant to unlocking Remnant 2's Warden archetype leads to the Withered Necropolis.
While players are guaranteed to visit the Withered Necropolis while working through Remnant 2's The Dark Horizon DLC, as it is along the main story path, details about how to reach its entrance may prove useful. Indeed, traversing the Agronomy Sector can prove to be confusing at times, and here is a path that lost players can follow:
- Start at the Quiescent Overlook checkpoint near the beginning of the Agronomy Sector.
- Head forward and to the left from the checkpoint to reach a Glider.
- Use that Glider to cross a gap, and continue forward to find a second Glider.
- Use that second Glider to traverse a corridor and get a boost from the air current at the end.
- Turn right, glide into the air current that is ahead, and land at a checkpoint.
- Continue beyond the checkpoint, and grab a Glider at the far right corner of the landmass.
- Glide across the gap, head forward and to the right, and grab yet another Glider.
- Glide forward and to the left to hit an air current, and then glide to the ledge on the left.
- Walk forward, and turn left at the crashed ship to reach the entrance to the Withered Necropolis.
Find the Weathered Mechanism
Once Remnant 2 players reach the Withered Necropolis, they must locate the Weathered Mechanism, a material that is used to unlock the Warden archetype. Here is how to find that item:
- After the map's initial checkpoint, walk forward and grab the Glider that is just past the Remnant 2 NPC.
- Turn slightly right, and allow the Glider to descend until it is possible to glide through the corridor.
- Hit the air current at the end of the corridor, and turn right.
- Glide forward, and hit the air current on the right.
- Use the air current that is ahead to reach the ledge to the right, which is illuminated by a mechanical device.
- Go forward and to the left to reach a bridge.
- Defeat the enemies and follow the path to the Weathered Mechanism, which is suspended in a mechanical device.
Take the Weathered Mechanism to Wallace
With the Weathered Mechanism in hand, players should make their way Wallace in Ward 13. For full clarity, this NPC is in a small elevated shack near the docks, and fans of third-person shooters should interact with him and select the Craft tab. It is within that tab that players can exchange the Weathered Mechanism for a Command Module, and the Warden archetype will unlock as soon as that exchange is made.
