Detonating Cord Location One: Agronomy Sector North
From the starting checkpoint of the Dark Horizon Agronomy Sector map, players should go north until they find a fork. Then, they should choose the path leading further north and pick up the first drone that will pop up from the platform.
Remnant 2: How To Beat N'Erudian Reaper
If you're having trouble defeating N'Erudian Reaper in Remnant 2, this guide can help you find useful strategies to emerge victorious.
If players direct the gliding Drone toward the hot air stream that's in front, they'll be propelled upward, to a platform located one level above the ledge. This platform will be big enough to have two of those big orange lamps illuminating the crops, and one Harvester will be patrolling the area. Defeat the Harvester, climb the ledge on the left side, and then an Amalgam will appear.
Players can use the streams of hot air to maintain the gliding drone for longer periods, but if they wish to descend, they can press the 'Crouch' key. That way, they can prevent going beyond the landing point and control their descent.
This elite enemy can be a little tricky to deal with, so equipping a resilient melee build with a tank Archetype can help players with the non-stop blows they'll receive from this beast. It doesn't have too much health, so a couple of primary weapon magazines unloaded in its weak point (the shiny orange thing in its head) will do the trick.
After that, players will notice a purplish glow on the floor next to an orange lamp. There, they'll find the Detonating Cord lying on the floor.

Detonating Cord Location Two: Agronomy Sector East
From the second Checkpoint, turn east and pick up the drone right next to Spark, the friendly Surveyor Robot with a knack for poetry. Players will notice two ledges in front of them: the one below leads to the entrance of the Stagnant Manufactory, so players should land on the one placed higher, with all the crops and the orange lamps glowing.
Once they land, players have to run up the hill and battle a Harvester that is safeguarding some crops and patrolling the area. Once they defeat it, they can climb toward a middle section between the two ledges. There, they'll see a body on the ground holding a purple item. That's the Detonating Cord.
The Detonator Mutator collected from the Astral Harvester Boss synergizes particularly well with the Detonating Cord, empowering its Explosive Damage rounds and the area damage caused by its triggered effect.
The Detonating Cord grants a new effect that buffs Explosive Damage by 10% and lasts 15 seconds. At the same time, it causes an explosion dealing 362.5 base damage around the player. This damage can scale with Explosive Damage buffs, such as the one activated by the Detonating Cord, and other accessories and Traits with similar effects.
