Redfall: Legendary Weapon Farming Locations

Legendary weapons, also known as "Unrivaled" weapons, are very powerful offensive tools in Redfall, and players are advised to fill their loadouts with them. While this may seem like a challenging endeavor upon first glance, there are a couple of methods that can be used to easily farm Legendaries. This guide is here to provide details on those methods, and players that employ them should quickly amass an assortment of Redfall's Legendary weapons.

Redfall: How to Farm Legendary Weapons

The first way to farm Legendary weapons in Redfall centers around Legendary-awarding containers that can be opened multiple times. There are at least two such containers within the Redfall Commons and one within Burial Point, and details on how to farm them can be found below. Notably, it is believed that looting everything from a container will make it impossible to open again, and players should make sure to leave some items within them to prevent that from occurring.

Basswood Pawn Shop Safe (Redfall Commons)

Fast travel to Redfall's Basswood Safehouse.
Purchase one Lockpick and one Rewire Kit.
Exit the Safehouse and follow the road south to the Pawn Shop.
Pick the front door's lock, use the Rewire Kit to open the Large Safe against the back wall, and loot the Legendary weapon.
Open the menu, select the Settings tab, and Quit to the main menu.
Reenter the game and repeat these steps.

Union Market Safe (Redfall Commons)

Fast travel to the Heritage Rock Safehouse.
Purchase two Lockpicks.
Exit the Safehouse and travel west to the Union Market, a building with a large lobster on the roof.
Use the fire escape to reach the second floor, and break the window to enter.
Pick the lock of the door to the right, enter the room, and use a Lockpick to open the Small Safe under the bed.
Open the menu, select the Settings tab, and Quit to the main menu.
Reenter the game and repeat these steps.

Redfall Police Station Weapon Crate (Burial Point)

Buy two Lockpicks at the Maritime Center.
Run east to the Redfall Police Station.
Enter through the open garage, pass through the door inside, and take an immediate right.
Descend the stairs and use a Lockpick to open the door that is ahead.
Open the Weapon Container on the table to the left and loot the Legendary weapon.
Open the menu, select the Settings tab, and Quit to the main menu.
Reenter the game and repeat these steps.

The Rook

Players that are looking for an alternative farming method should set their sights on repeatedly summoning and dispatching Redfall's Rook. For the uninitiated, the Rook is a powerful vampire that always drops a Legendary weapon when slain, and he will spawn every time that fans fill the Rook Storm meter that appears upon completion of the Fall Like Lightning main story mission.

While there are several ways to approach filling the Rook Storm meter, setting off alarms is perhaps the fastest. Notably, players can set off the same alarm as many times as they want simply by quitting to the main menu and reloading the map. Fans can exploit this fact to quickly farm Rook Storm meter by repeatedly targeting an alarm that is near a fast travel point in Redfall, such as the cars that are parked in front of the Basswood Safehouse.

Players can also fill the Rook Storm meter over and over again through activities like killing special vampires and clearing Vampire Nests in Redfall. While fans that target these activities may not summon the Rook as frequently as those that focus on alarms, there is an incentive to pursue at least the latter of the two. More specifically, it is possible to loot Legendaries from Vampire Nests, giving players a chance to earn weapons while they are working to spawn the Rook.
