How to Unlock Outfits in REDACTED

To unlock outfits in REDACTED, players need to be in the hub area. Once you spawn in, go to the left of the screen and travel up the stairs. Interact with the closet on the right edge of the raised platform to unlock and change outfits.

These outfits aren't all available from the start. There are rival-specific outfits that only become available to unlock once players encounter said rival during their run. These suits are typically geared towards increasing the player's chance of getting a specific type of experiment, letting you reduce the RNG in your runs to craft specific builds.

How to Upgrade Outfits in REDACTED

After you've unlocked an outfit, you'll have the option to upgrade it, but only after you complete certain conditions. Players can access this upgrade menu on their PC by pressing F while selecting the desired outfit. If you've unlocked the outfit already, you'll be able to see the requirement to unlock the suit's upgrade.

For example, players gain access to the Combustion Suit after they first encounter Liz during a run. However, after you beat Liz during your run, you'll be able to unlock the first upgrade for the suit, which gives you a higher chance of encountering combustion experiments.
