A Red Dead Redemption 2 player online has shared heartbreaking footage of a White Arabian capture attempt ending in disaster. The White Arabian is one of the best horses in Red Dead Redemption 2, and the fact that it can be found for free is why many seek it out.
The relationship between players and their horses is one of the most underrated things about Red Dead Redemption 2. While the game encourages players to upgrade to the next best horse frequently, it can be hard to let go, especially when players have been through battle with their trusty steeds. One particular endgame scene is particularly heartbreaking, reiterating the bond between the player and the horse they've been using throughout the game. Some gamers feel strongly about this, and one even went as far as to share a wholesome tribute to their horse in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Creative Red Dead Redemption 2 Fan Makes GTA 6-Inspired Trailer
A Red Dead Redemption 2 player online creates a fan-made trailer for the game, which takes heavy inspiration from the recent GTA 6 trailer.
The sad clip was posted to Reddit by user DroppedLeSoap as they mount the White Arabian just on the edge of a waterfall. The horse attempts to buck them off, swinging them wildly near the edge. Just as it seems as though the White Arabian has finally calmed down, the stream takes them both and sends them over the edge. While Arthur Morgan survives the fall, the horse is not so lucky, as it floats away, dead. There have been plenty of disastrous horse encounters among Red Dead Redemption 2 players, but this one instantly joins the ranks as one of the saddest.
In this particular situation, DroppedLeSoap is in luck. Other players responded to the title of the thread, confirming that the White Arabian horse does respawn after waiting for a couple of days in-game time. As the White Arabian can only appear in Red Dead Redemption 2 near Lake Isabella in the North-Western Grizzlies, they'll likely have to leave the entire area for a while before it becomes available to try again. Hopefully, the second time is the charm for this player.
Although Red Dead Redemption 2 is still keeping many players busy over five years after its release, many are hoping for news on a potential sequel. It remains to be seen exactly what the GTA 6 release window means for Red Dead Redemption 3, but historically, Rockstar has had no issue with making players wait until a product is fully ready to be experienced. With this in mind, it's very likely some time away yet.

With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him. From the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America at the dawn of the modern age.
