Summary

  • New Sadie Adler mod enhances Red Dead Redemption 2 epilogue content.
  • The modding scene is limited by Rockstar's lack of official tools.
  • "Return to Adler Ranch" mod restores Sadie's home and adds interactions with the fan-favorite character.

A new mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 has added some amazing content to the game's epilogue, focusing on gunslinger Sadie Adler. While Sadie already features extensively in the epilogue of Red Dead Redemption 2, this mod brings even more content to the game.

The modding scene for Red Dead Redemption 2 isn't as big as might be expected for a game of its size. While there are a ton of great mods for the game, Rockstar's lack of official modding tools makes it much more difficult than it could be, and as a result, there aren't as many mods as there should be. Still, it's interesting to see what the community can create despite the lack of official tools. Just recently, another talented gamer created a Red Dead Redemption 2 mod that adds RDO-exclusive animals to the game. Let's hope the modding community is still creating these awesome mods for years to come.

The mod is titled "Return to Adler Ranch," and is available on Nexus Mods from user RedPeds. As a concept, it's simple - it restores the Adler Ranch as it appears at the beginning of the game, when players meet Sadie in Red Dead Redemption 2 for the first time. In the base game, the ranch burns down and is never brought back to its former glory. However, with this mod installed, it's fully restored, and Sadie heads back to live there during the Epilogue.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Epilogue Mod Adds More Sadie Content

That's not all. As well as returning Sadie to her former home, players of Red Dead Redemption 2's epilogue will also be able to speak to her using various interaction prompts. Dialogue is pulled from the base game to make John and Sadie have natural conversations, making the mod feel like a true expansion to the base game. There's even a bed inside the cabin where John can rest for the night. While the mod might not add any new missions to the game, being able to go and see Sadie at any point just makes the game feel a lot more immersive.

Despite modders continuing to add new content to Red Dead Redemption 2, there's definitely a massive section of the game's community waiting for a sequel. With Rockstar still busy finishing the development of Grand Theft Auto 6, it's difficult to imagine a new Red Dead Redemption game for a few years yet. Some even feel that Red Dead Redemption 3 should star Sadie Adler, and it'll be interesting to see if Rockstar brings back one of the most popular characters from its most recent installment.

America, 1899. The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed. After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him. From the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America at the dawn of the modern age.
