Hunting is a major part of Red Dead Redemption 2, and with over 500 animals roaming around its lands, there are plenty of creatures to track down, from legendary bears, wolves, and bucks to smaller fry like birds, squirrels, muskrats, and raccoons.
Of course, most players usually don't just track down wild games for the fun of it. In a post on Reddit, user Electronic-Movie9361 discussed how their friend ended up with an unlimited source of money while hunting rabbits due to a strange, yet beneficial, glitch in Red Dead Redemption 2. Glitches certainly aren't a new discovery in the open-world game, as there's quite a humorous incident where Arthur Morgan gets shot into the air due to a weird bridge glitch, not to mention pesky bugs that would see players get completely stuck when entering a stable. But this time, a new rabbit-killing anomaly ended up netting the player boundless money resources while they were "running over rabbits for fun." It seems as though the player skinned one rabbit, the game glitched, and it ended up giving them 71,001 rabbit carcasses, which they then sold for nearly $100,000.

Even though the rabbit pelts were in poor condition, they still managed to earn a lot of money for them. There is the possibility that they could continue killing bunnies to accumulate endless bags of cash while the glitch is still active, but this has yet to be proven. Either way, it seems to be one way to rack up quite a lot of dough without too much effort. Electronic-Movie9361 also states that their friend became even more ambitious once they found out there was an achievement for it that required players to get three perfect quality rabbit pelts to complete rank 2 in Red Dead Redemption 2' s Master Hunter Challenges.
Coupled with many other strange and unexpected glitches found within the game and outside of the rabbit money glitch, there's also a bug that turns Red Dead Redemption 2's sky red, giving its landscapes a really eerie vibe. While encountering bugs in Red Dead Redemption 2 can be a frustrating experience for players, this particular money-grabbing bunny malfunction certainly isn't a bad situation to come across, especially when looking for a simple method to get rich quickly.
