The chilling glitch seemed to be triggered by this particular side mission, which saw Simon Pearson, a supporting character in the game and a member of the Van der Linde gang, become a ghostly figure on the player's screen. Due to how much that goes on in its packed world, it's understandable (to a point) why glitches can occur, although experiencing these spine-chilling bugs when getting involved in one of Red Dead Redemption 2's creepiest encounters certainly isn't an ideal situation.
