Red Dead Redemption 2 has received a new mod that makes the game's clothing aspect more realistic, which makes the player experience more immersive. From everyday outfits to attire designed for special occasions, Red Dead Redemption 2 packs a wide variety of Wild West-era clothing and accessories for players to choose from.
Unlike in previous Rockstar Games titles, the clothing in Red Dead Redemption 2 has a much bigger impact on the player. Wearing outfits matching the seasonal temperature can prove crucial in the game and holds the potential to directly affect the protagonist's health. In addition to that, certain special Red Dead Redemption 2 outfits offer useful advantages for the player, such as an improved Dead Eye. This particular aspect of the game has recently received a notable community-made upgrade.

New Red Dead Redemption 2 Mod Fixes Clothing Issues, Also Adds New Items
The Catalogue Improvements mod by iAbokai and Suika, available on Nexus Mods since August 31, irons out a few issues with Arthur Morgan's clothes, unlocks new items for him as well as John Marston, among other things. First off, the clipping issue in which certain parts of the outfit merge with the character model, resulting in a glitched appearance, has been resolved. Similarly, the issue with the bandolier not sitting properly around the torso has also been fixed in this mod, further elevating Red Dead Redemption 2's realism. Importantly, two separate mods, namely Lenny’s Mod Loader and ScriptHookRDR2 & Asiloader, should be in place before this one can work.
New styles of bow ties, new colors of working gloves, and new items such as a lantern are also available in this mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 players. For John Marston, it introduces new outfits that were cut from the main game, such as The Elegant Suit. On the other hand, horses have also received tweaks, with the inclusion of horseshoes and an additional weapon holster. Per the mod's description page, there are more "surprise" changes in this update that have been left unannounced for players to stumble upon.
Last month, Red Dead Redemption 2 crossed yet another sales milestone, after selling over 77 million copies across different platforms. Based on the lack of recent official updates, it seems like Rockstar Games could be preparing to gradually stop supporting the third-person shooter title. However, so long as the game's community is still bustling with intriguing mods, such as the Catalogue Improvements mod, it may be fair to expect players to continue flocking to the 2018 release.
