Of all the kills that have happened in Red Dead Redemption 2 since it was released back in 2018, one player has shown off what may be the most brutal bow and arrow kill. Of all the weapons in Red Dead Redemption 2, the bow and arrow are among the quietest at taking out enemies, and this player has taken the method of execution to a new level.
The many Red Dead Redemption 2 weapons can be acquired in a few different ways, with some being introduced through the campaign, and others being sold at gunsmith shops. The bow can be earned in Red Dead Redemption 2 by completing The Aftermath of Genesis quest, and it can also be found in Red Dead Online through the Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Catalog at rank 14. Now one Red Dead Redemption 2 player has pulled off an especially brutal kill with the weapon.
Reddit user Epicfunnygamermoment recently shared a clip of Red Dead Redemption 2 hero Arthur Morgan in the midst of a shootout in Van Horn trading post along the Lannahechee River. The Red Dead Redemption 2 video begins with Arthur pushing a hostile enemy away before drawing the bow and aiming at the NPCs head to unleash an instant kill. Normally, this arrow would cause the Red Dead Redemption 2 NPC to collapse immediately, but the brutality of the moment continues as they stumble a few steps before falling to the ground.
Appearing at first like the arrow didn't phase them, the shot Red Dead Redemption 2 character spins to walk toward the Lannahechee River, which reveals the arrow protruding out both sides of their head. As Epicfunnygamermoment watches the Red Dead Redemption 2 NPC slump to the ground, the defeated character's weapon falls beside them and can be looted for more ammunition. As Epicfunnygamermoment had at least one more Red Dead Redemption 2 character shooting at them when the clip concluded, it's currently unclear if the ruthless kill distracted their gameplay enough to cause their own demise.
Because there are several Red Dead Redemption 2 weapons, players can dispatch their enemies in a plethora of ways, but Epicfunnygamermoment's method is among the most brutal in the Rockstar game. As Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online continue to be played today, it's possible that even more gruesome deaths will eventually emerge as Rockstar Games shifts development to Grand Theft Auto 6.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
