Red Dead Redemption has finally arrived on Steam. PC players who have waited years can now play out John Marston's tragic tale. This comes as a pleasant surprise even after the game was released on Nintendo Switch.
Red Dead Redemption can be a lengthy game to enjoy if you plan on attaining 100% completion. Completing the story, side quests, and all the legendary challenges will net you some unique rewards. Part of 100% completion is acquiring some rare weapons as well. Most of the weapons in the game are very fun to play with, so there's no reason not to collect them all. This guide will show you where you can find and unlock all weapons in the first Red Dead Redemption.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Passes Incredible Sales Milestone
Red Dead Redemption 2 reaches a new incredible sales milestone, not only selling well over its entire lifespan, but over the last six months.
Gunsmiths & Ammo Types
You should make sure to check every Gunsmith shop in Red Dead Redemption. There will be one in nearly every major town in the game. They will usually have new guns in stock. Some weapons are unlocked by progressing the story or completing legendary challenges. John Marston's honor level will affect the prices depending on where you're shopping. The Savvy Merchant Outfit will also heavily lower prices if John is wearing it.
You can also stock up on ammunition at these stores. Ammo is tied to each specific type of weapon, so you might need to visit regularly to keep some of your weapons full. You can also buy the Bandolier at Gunsmiths. This will allow Marston to hold two times more ammo for rifles and repeaters. Some weapons are tied to the Undead Nightmare expansion and cannot be found in the main game.
