How to Complete Chapter 6 of Separate Ways

The main goal in the sixth chapter is connecting Wesker’s device to the control systems at the Comms Facility. To accomplish this, Ada will first need to find a way into the establishment and fight off a laboratory creature to gain access to the control room. Below is a step-by-step guide to doing so.

Head for Facility 1

At the start of Chapter 6, players will need to navigate through the Amber Storeroom and container yard. In the second area, they will be ambushed by a horde of soldiers and Brutes. But luckily, this section is skippable. All players need to do is climb the ramp near the crane and follow the path into the room on the left.

Solve the Power Unit Puzzle in Facility 1

From the Facility 1 Loft, players need to make their way towards the Freezer section. To reach it, they should follow the path that leads from the Incubation Area into the Lab, where Leon previously solved Electronic Door Puzzles. Inside the Freezer, players will discover a set of batteries.

After obtaining the power units, players must navigate through the narrow cracks in the wall to return to the Facility 1 Loft and insert the batteries into the empty slot.

Excluding the optional ones, players will encounter three Regeneradors in the Lab section. To defeat these enemies, they must utilize a Biosensor Scope and target their parasites.

Locate the Comms Facility

The Comms Facility’s entrance is guarded by gun emplacements. To access it, players will need to get behind each turret and shoot the red barrel inside.

After vaulting down into the guarded area, players should grapple to the opening on the right and proceed while destroying all the turrets they encounter along the way.

Flee from the Lab Creature

In the Facility, players will be chased by a lab creature. During the first encounter, they must run away from it by turning the wheel and squeezing through the cracked open gate. This will allow them to enter the sewage canal and sneak behind the creature.

Unlock Comms Facility Doors

There are three locked doors in the establishment that players must unlock using Ada’s I.R.I.S. Vision. What they need to do is expose the fingerprints on the keypads to guess the correct passwords. Here are all the codes:

  • First Door Code: 148
  • Second Door Code: 237
  • Third Door Code: 430

Note

Enter the code, then press E to unlock.

Bypass the Laser Trap

Upon unlocking the second door, players will encounter a corridor fortified with laser security. To navigate this trap, they must crouch and traverse through the gaps in the laser beams. However, for the final obstacle, they need to press the B button (Circle on PS) to leap through the advancing lasers.

Connect the Device and Leave

Once players gain access to the control room, they must connect Wesker’s device and prepare to leave the establishment. However, their progress is impeded by a final encounter with the lab creature, compelling them to engage in a quick time event (QTE) within the laser room. The QTE prompts in this section are B, B, B, followed by RB (on PlayStation, Circle, Circle, Circle, and R1.)
